As a Deputy Editorial Director for BuzzFeed’s shopping team, I love to get into the weeds of why a product’s worth the money by deep diving into customer reviews, and product-testing as much as possible.

A well-curated medicine cabinet can mean one of two things. Either all the packaging is gorgeous and, thus, visually pleasing. Or, the stuff within just does the job well without wasting time and effort on packaging. This story is in the second collection. You don't need a floral-patterned body exfoliator to set yourself up for shaving success. After all, who's looking at your shower? No one. So let's chase the results instead. 

Promising review: "Alright… let me give you the lowdown on what an amazing product this is. I’m not lying when I say it does EXACTLY what it says it’s supposed to do. I bought the tube eight months ago, and I use it daily. A pea-sized amount is perfect for my neck area. The tube lasts a long time. I still have some left and bought it again. Mouthwatchers is a small business by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans — which are great for targeting stuff often missed with traditional brush and floss routines.

I've teste the whitening version of this toothpaste, and it works just as well as any drugstore brand toothpaste without irritation. (I'll occasionally get irritation from whitening strips and treatments, and space them out because of it, but I've had none with this!) My mouth just FEELS cleaner when I use this, and it's even easier to use my tongue scraper after brushing, too! I think this has earned a spot as my new go-to.

I've used nearly every other brow tint on the market and I think this has to be my favorite because of the formula AND applicator. I used to have FULL brows but then waxed them super thin in high school and now they're substantial but not nearly as full. This helps fill them out in a natural-looking way that takes a few seconds. I do this in my everyday makeup look and will even do it before a yoga class (I SWEAT) and it doesn't end up on my face or gym towel. In my experience, it does stay for up to 12 hours (if not more) and the formula is vegan, and cruelty-, fragrance-, and paraben-free.

Rubbing alcohol-based products (like Tend Skin) can help prevent an infection of an ingrown, but can’t prevent an ingrown itself, according to Cleveland Clinic. 

This can be applied after shaving and waxing to prevent bumps and burns. It can also be applied at night independent of shaving to help clear any existing ingrown hairs and bumps.

Promising review: "I have suffered from splitting and cracking fingers every fall and winter for years. I tried Eucerin, Lubriderm, and Gold Bond creams, but none seemed to relieve the splitting from reoccurring. I tried O'Keeffe's Working Hand Cream and within 2.5 days, the splitting and cracking were no longer a factor. Since using the cream, I have not suffered any more cracking or splitting. I am on a busy schedule and only use it at night when I go to bed. It says it's non-greasy but you can definitely feel a slick texture on your hands once applied.
