'Full House' Star Lori Loughlin Takes Big Step In Her Personal Life

“Full House” star Lori Loughlin has officially filed for divorce from her husband, fashion designer Massimo Giannulli, nearly one year after they separated. Court documents obtained by People show that Loughlin filed for divorce on Sept. 4 from her husband of 27 years. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, and the filing confirms she and Giannulli signed a prenuptial agreement before their 1997 wedding, which they amended in 2015. The estranged couple has two daughters: Isabella Rose, 27, and influencer Olivia Jade, 26. People reported the split was directly influenced by a 2020 college admissions scandal where both Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to “securing the fraudulent admission” of their kids to the University of Southern California crew team “as purported athletic recruits.” They both served prison time and were ordered to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines as restitution. Although a source close to Giannulli told People in January that he still loved Loughlin, a source in her camp said she was still “extremely angry” at him. After the separation was announced last year, Loughlin’s “Full House” co-star John Stamos defended Loughlin, calling Giannulli a “terrible narcissist” among other things. “I’m not going to debate whether she had much to do with it or not ― I know she didn’t,” Stamos said. “He dragged her through that [and] she goes to fucking prison for this asshole for three months.” By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
