"I think you had to be the perfect age, mindset, and maturity level when you first watched some of his 'classics' to find them funny. For example, Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, I watched them at the peak of my teenage immaturity and found them hilarious. Now, on rewatches, it takes me back to those days, so I still enjoy them. If I were watching them for the first time now, I could see how they would be pretty dumb. Like You Don't Mess With the Zohan and Jack and Jill. Two truly awful movies."
