β€œIt’s one of my great loves – don’t do it.”

"Then you don't get around to that big project for a few months, but you've been to the yarn store or local fiber/homemade yarn festival and bought a few skeins of fancy yarn for possible projects in the future, or maybe the local store has a big sale on the SOFTEST yarn you've felt in your life.

After a few months, you have a trash bag or tote box full of yarn for future projects. After a year or more, you have a few bags. Then, at some point, you buy extra furniture for the spare room to store it all. Then that gets filled up, so you buy more furniture. And once you have a whole wall of drawers or bins full of the yarn you've collected over the previous decades, you realize you are not allowed to buy more yarn. This will hurt your soul, but there is no more room, so it must be done. If you want yarn, you must go to your stash to 'shop' for it. But it's not the same. Spare yourself this heartache if you feel like this could be you."
