An acid-tongued Jen Psaki reviewed an ad from a richly endowed Donald Trump super PAC on MS NOW Wednesday.

Amid reports that Republicans up for election in the midterms are worried about Trump’s financial commitment to them, a group aligned with the MAGA Inc. PAC released a commercial just two months before the election.

But it doesn’t tout the candidates fighting for their political lives to stave off a Democratic takeover. It features the one and only, well, Trump. UFC boss Dana Boss praises Trump in the spot, and Trump spouts patriotic cliches.

The misguided approach turned Psaki, a former White House press secretary under President Joe Biden, into a sarcasm-spewing machine.

“Perfect ad, Mr. President,” she said with a chef’s kiss. “No notes! Dana White featured. No notes at all. You keep doing you!”

“I particularly love the way it makes you and your record the focus of this election, especially given your stunning 33% approval rating,” she continued. “And what a bold and really innovative choice to not even mention Congress or the midterms or the work you’ve done with members of Congress up for reelection at all.”

The mockery kept coming.

“I’m sure Republicans running this year will be absolutely tickled pink that this is how you’re spending the money from your massive war chest,” she said. “And we know that the brilliant idea for this Trump-focused ad campaign came directly from Trump himself, because The Atlantic reported last week that the president personally ordered a series of television advertisements about his own record that will serve as a backdrop to the hundreds of individual House and Senate contests.”
