“If we hadn’t left a day early, we’d have seen those women die.”

BTW, have you seen the Netflix show Untamed? It's essentially about the mysteries (and crimes) that unfold inside Yosemite National Park.

"The next day, we were chatting with other campers at the site we were staying at, who seemed to be locals, and we mentioned the bar. A couple of them told us independently that that place was not and has never been a bar and that they thought we were being lured into trouble."

"We just thought we were hammered and went up to the house. We looked inside the house to see the relative sleeping, and we asked if anyone came by. They all said, 'No one went from here, only you three, and it's been over an hour. We are waiting for you guys.' Well, that made us wake up from the dizziness right away."

"I could see the glow from the fire through the tent, and whatever was outside was big enough to partially block out some of the light. I then decided we were all about to die because one of our friends decided at that moment to start snoring. Loudly. I debated whether covering his face with a pillow would increase our survival chances, but eventually, after what felt like an hour, I crawled over to a different friend and woke him up to tell him what was going on.

Whatever it was had moved away from the fire, but I hadn’t heard it leave. He went outside to check while I cursed him for being every dumb guy in every horror movie, but there was nothing there. I’m still convinced it was a bear, a big one. As for the drumming, we never figured out what it was."

"The ghost walked through the tent and out the other side. My chills were gone, but I was still uneasy because I knew I had just been visited. The campsite’s name is called IMR because it's native land in Wisconsin where burial grounds are visible as mounds. I've dealt with critics my entire life. Some believe, and some don't. If you don't, it's a cool story at minimum."
