Ben Affleck’s Ana de Armas cutout, you will always be famous.

As a staff writer at BuzzFeed, I write about all things celeb, pop culture, and books.

"I saw a comment after her wedding asking if she did the same thing with her vows."

She also said that she was raised bilingual, which is why her accent seemingly changes. She said, "It's one of those things that I've always been a bit insecure about [...] If I get nervous, or I get upset, then I start to mix the two."

She continued, "Yes, I am a white girl. Let's be clear that Europe has a lot of white people in there. My family is white. Ethnically, I am a mix of many, many, many things. Culturally, I grew up with two cultures. So, it's really as simple as that. In the past, I would get very frustrated when reporters would report this or report that, and I'd try to be very clear — and they'd be like, 'Oh, you were born in Spain.'"

According to Vanity Fair, Hilaria is of "English, Irish, French Canadian, German, and Slovak" descent.

During the goodnight section of the show, Ashlee said, "My band started playing the wrong song, and I didn't know what to do, so I thought I'd do a hoedown. I'm sorry."

However, appearing on the Broad Ideas With Rachel Bilson & Olivia Allen podcast 20 years later, she revealed the truth — she'd been lip syncing because she had recently been diagnosed with "two nodules beating against each other," but she was afraid to cancel her appearance at the last minute. She said, "I feel like it was a humbling moment for me. I had the number one song, it was, like, everything was about go, like, somewhere, and then it was just, like, woah. The humility of not even understanding what grown ass people would say about you, awful, awful things."

"I think my television cringed watching this episode."

"This one has big Elon Musk energy to me."

"Anytime the bathroom needs to be cleaned, my husband and I ask one another, 'Who's going to clean your toilet, Donald Trump?'"

"It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way, I clean my own fucking toilets," she said.

Then, in 2024, Kelly told Rolling Stone, "It hurt a lot of people, and that to me, by far, makes it the worst thing I've ever done. I realized that I'm not great on live TV and that words are so powerful. And to be labeled as something you're not is really difficult. But it happened. There's nothing I can do. ... I was so ignorant and so misinformed. I thought simply not being racist was enough. It's not enough. You have to actively stand up against it."

"I think about this sometimes, and it haunts me."

"I still need to know if he named his kid after her. 🫠"

She claimed she came forward because a friend was threatening to sell the story.

As her video went viral, two more women claimed that they'd exchanged flirty DMs with the singer.

In a follow-up TikTok, Sumner said, "The most important part that I definitely did gloss over is the fact that I was under the impression that their marriage was over. I believed they were keeping it quiet to avoid the negative press because, as I said, I was new to LA. I just assumed that with celebrities of that caliber, that's just how it was. And that's why I feel exploited, because he knew I believed everything that he said — because of my vulnerable position of being new to LA. ... Again, in no way was I trying to gain sympathy, and I fully realize I'm not the victim in this. I'm not the one who's really getting hurt here. It's Behati and her children, and for that, I am so, so sorry."

On his Instagram story, Adam said, "A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair; nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."

Four months later, Will addressed the incident in a YouTube video. He said, "I've reached out to Chris, and the message that came back is that he is not ready to talk — and when he is, he will reach out... I will say to you, Chris: I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk... I spent the last three months replaying and understanding the nuances and the complexities of what happened in that moment. I can say to all of you, there is no part of me that thinks that was the right way to behave in that moment...to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults."

She continued, "With all of the topics women are finally allowed to explore I just want to say over the last ten years I think it's pathetic that my minor lyrical exploration detailing my sometimes submissive or passive roles in my relationships has often made people say I've set women back hundreds of years.

Let this be clear, I'm not not a feminist -but there has to be a place in feminism for women who look and act like me - the kind of woman who says no but men hear yes - the kind of women who are slated mercilessly for being authentic, delicate selves, the kind of women who get their own stories and voices taken away from them by stronger women or by men who hate women.

I've been honest and optimistic about the challenging relationships I've had.News flash! That's just how it is for many women.

And that was sadly my experience up until the point that those records were made. So I just want to say it's been a long 10 years of bullshit reviews up until recently and I've learned a lot from them.

but I also feel it really paved the way for other women to stop 'putting on a happy face' and just be able to say whatever the hell they wanted to in their music-

unlike my experience where if I even expressed a not of sadness in my first two records I was deemed literally hysterical as though it was literally the 1920s

Anyways none of this has anything to do about much but I'll be dealing some of my feelings in my next two books of poetry (mostly the second one) with Simon and Schuster. Yes I'm still making personal reparations with the proceeds of the books to my choice of Native American foundations which I'me very happy about. And I'm sure there will be tinges of what I've been pondering in my new album that comes out September 5th. [sic]"

Following backlash, Lana doubled down on her comments and claimed other people were trying to turn her post "into a race war."

She also said, "I'm sorry that I didn't add one Caucasian — 100% Caucasian — person into the mix of the women that I admire." Her original post actually mentioned Ariana Grande, who's a white woman of Italian heritage.

Lana said, "I'm not the enemy, and I'm definitely not racist, so don't get it twisted. Nobody gets to tell your story except for you, and that's what I'm gonna do in the next couple books. So, God bless — and yeah. Fuck off if you don't like the post."

"To be fair, I also thought it was Georgio, but to be not fair, I am also a poor."
