"They had no f-ing plan for season two, it turned into like weird fan fiction. So awful."

"Somewhere in the third season, a character who was all about family turns and does something to his own brother, and I just stopped mid-episode."

"Glee had been bad for a while, but there was an episode that started with Blaine twerking, and that was the moment I decided not to continue with the series."

"I stopped watching when Mercedes’ boyfriend told her not to speak for an entire week, and when the time was up, she wanted to talk to Sam, but then her boyfriend showed up and they walked away together, Mercedes looking sad. It was such a stupid, out-of-date moment that it turned me off completely."

"When Sookie said the line, 'You mean I'm a fairy?', I turned off the show and never watched another episode."

"When they lost the original main character, it was like, 'What even is this now?!'"

"As soon as they introduced Elsa. I was already losing interest, but pandering to the new movie’s popularity at the time was the final nail in the coffin."

"I felt like the show would jump the shark if anything happened to the wife. I just couldn’t watch when they threw in a random love triangle. I told myself I wouldn’t watch if something happened, and I was watching a train crash. I noped out immediately."

"I enjoyed season one, then in the season two premiere they shoehorned Jelly Roll in for absolutely no reason."

"The episode where Glenn didn’t die under the dumpster."

"That episode broke the spell the show had on me. I was already kind of tired of it at that point, but the dumpster fake-out was like the last straw that broke my back.

I trudged along to the finale of that season, but the cliffhanger ending completely shattered any remaining interest I had. I looked up who died when the new season started, but by that point, I felt nothing for the show or characters.

I’m surprised the show went on for years after that and even has who knows how many spin-offs these days."

"I consider that the ending to the show. The other seasons... They're a different show altogether."

"Not really bad, but I hated the decision for drama that made me quit, Grey’s Anatomy: Meredith tampering with her Alzheimer’s research for Richard’s wife! Girl never had the penchant for long-term thinking."

I hung in there for, like, 10 or 11 seasons, took a break and returned, but one thing happened way after that. It was pure and unconditional character assassination (off-screen too), and I simply couldn't do it anymore.

You did miss out on a lot of random-ass character deaths by tapping out so early on, lol.""

"Season three finale. There was so much happening that wasn't even in the realm of possibility EVEN IN the suspended disbelief riddled universe of Sherlock. How were there three bad guys all at once? Why is John's wife such a characature? Why is EVERY female character in the show written that way? How many times can Sherlock fake his death before you just roll your eyes and turn it off? (Twice. The answer is twice.) If it had been a full camp episode, it would have been fun, maybe. But it wasn't camp, it was cringe. Fully off the track."

"The Christmas episode where a major character out of nowhere dies in a car crash because of a real life contract dispute, basically. Made me realise none of this shit matters and it's just a soap opera (granted, took me far too long)."

"I got somewhere in season four of Riverdale, maybe the Hedwig musical episode, before quitting. Only to later find out that it gets even more wild than that. And I thought season three was ridiculous."

"In The Handmaid’s Tale when she gets to Canada and decides to turn back and go into the dystopian hellscape she’d spent the entire series trying to escape."

"Season 9 premier. The one with the whale. It was already kind of a bad and campy show to begin with, but that episode ended my teen son's interest in that show altogether. He yelled, 'who writes this crap?' and proceeded to cancel his series recording."

"Japanese week in Bake Off. Japan has so many amazing baked goods and I had to watch them put burger filling into bao buns and make crepe cakes, it was a shitshow."

"The episode of Bones where they decided to join the circus. It had been going downhill for a while before then, but that plot line was beyond stupid."

"The episode where Zach decided it made perfect sense to be a cannibal."

"Zach Addy was the most hyper-logical, gentle character on the entire show and they turned him into an apprentice for a serial killer offscreen. Absolutely absurd character assassination."

“Season two finale of Westworld. Ironically, I'm someone who actually liked season two better than season one. I went into the season one finale thinking I was going to drop it there, but the twist ending was intriguing enough to me that I gave the second season a shot and actually mostly enjoyed it.

But the season two finale was such nonsense that I knew I was done after that. I did watch the season three premiere just to see Marshawn Lynch, which was kinda fun. But the rest of it only confirmed for me that, yeah, I'm not getting anything out of the show anymore.”

“Bode falsely confessed to the drug relapse and went back to prison at the end of S1. This show was stretching my credibility already, but after that, I just gave up.”

"In Game of Thrones, when I heard the line, 'You want a good girl but you need bad pussy,' I knew we were going to be sprinting toward the bottom."
