Technically, he was in the G-rated animated kids film Quest for Camelot, but given that movie's delayed release, he would've likely recorded his lines pre-Lost in Space.

"I was just frustrated, getting angry and pissed off and I would bring everything inward. That's just kind of the guy I am, actor I am," Prinze Jr. said of how he felt on the film.

A ViacomCBS investigation apparently found no evidence of sexual misconduct during his tenure on Nickelodeon, though they did find evidence of verbal abuse and interviewed workers who brought up his texting minors outside of work hours and asking for neck massages. Schneider declined to speak on the investigation, but said that he "never interacted with actors in any way, texting or otherwise, that should make anyone uncomfortable" and claimed if his stars found him difficult, it was due to his "high standards." A rep also stated, "There were always parents and caregivers and their friends watching filming and rehearsals."

Schneider later sued the creators of the docuseries Quiet on Set (which detailed some of these claims), Warner Bros. Discovery, and Sony Pictures Television, saying they implied sexual abuse, which he denied. The suit appears to be ongoing.
