The star-crossed lovers are on taking modern-day Los Angeles.

1. First of all, I'm loving these short and sweet episode times.

2. Like, this is perfect if you need something to watch on your lunch break or need a quick escape.

3. The opening scene of Episode 1 is giving ~mysterious~ club vibes.

4. Juliet (Gabrielle Faith Brown) has entered the chat in a little black dress moment.

5. And here comes Romeo (Crayton Carrozza) in his sleek leather jacket.

6. Their eyes meet, and it's like time stops.

7. And that meet-cute is short-lived as we quickly cut away to Romeo crying over Juliet's body during her funeral service.

8. The first episode ends, and that cliffhanger has me locked in wanting more.

9. Episode 2 starts, and we've got some new characters getting introduced.

10. Leather jackets are obviously a wardrobe staple, and I'm so here for it.

11. You could cut the tension with a knife as Paris (Max Decker) attempts to make a toast. The priest does NOT look comfortable at all.

12. Max Decker wears many hats since he also directed and cowrote the microdrama with Darío Herrera (who plays Lord Montague).

13. Juliet is back and looking radiant in white as she sits at the table.

14. A June wedding is announced, and again, everyone looks far from pleased — especially Juliet.

15. Juliet obviously doesn't want to marry Paris because she doesn't know him. That's sound thinking IMO.

16. The priest looks so distraught as they tell the nurse to take Juliet upstairs to her room.

17. Paris is giving creep vibes, telling Juliet, "This is gonna happen whether you want it or not."

18. C'mon, parents! You have to do something to help your daughter. And the episode cuts...

19. Episode 3 starts with the nurse attempting to comfort Juliet to no avail.

20. Honestly, I get why Juliet doesn't want to go through with it. That's a match made to fail.

21. She argues with her mom, and honestly, it's so valid.

23. Will it be successful? I guess we have to find out.

24. Her mom isn't so confident in her choice, as Juliet's never had a job, paid bills, or slept in a bed not made for her.

25. Well, there's no stopping Juliet as the scene comes to a close.

26. Episode 4 starts with a bang as Lady Capulet tells Juliet, "You're not my daughter right now." Sorry, but that has got to hurt.

27. The nurse encourages Juliet to visit a club downtown in an effort to make her feel better. That way Juliet can dance and actually be the 18-year-old she is.

28. These pending wedding woes can wait until tomorrow I guess...

29. And that little black dress? There's nothing a good outfit can't fix.

30. How am I already on Episode 5??? That flew by *so* quickly.

31. There are even more new characters.

32. Oh, and there's a gratuitous shirtless scene as Romeo is getting his workout of the day in.

33. Romeo's boys are attempting to rally and get him to go to the club, which is where he'll eventually meet Juliet. What are you waiting for?!

34. Honestly, Juliet and Romeo are giving the same angsty vibes, so it's no wonder they're instantly drawn to each other.

35. Episode 6 starts, and we are back to Romeo and Juliet's meet-cute moment.

36. Romeo asks for "Juliet's hand," and she's quick to fire back if that's what "he asks all the other girls."

37. His response ends up being pretty damn smooth. We see you, Romeo.

38. And Juliet obviously is into it because she takes his hand.

39. It's giving ~love at first sight~ connection.

40. I'm locked in for Episode 7, and it's pretty eerie as Lord Montague secretly watches Romeo and Juliet's meet-cute moment from a laptop.

41. Little does he know that Juliet is part of the Capulet family until it's confirmed from the guest list. And boy, is he irritated once he finds out. That Montague-Capulet feud is definitely real.

42. By Episode 8, Paris is back and interrupts Romeo and Juliet's conversation.

43. Boys will be boys, and the two start to fight.

44. Lord Montague issues a forceful warning for Paris to leave.

45. Juliet is intercepted after the whole ordeal as she's told the owner of the club wants to speak with her and has "a long history" with her mother. Juliet is unsure...

46. It's Episode 9, and the story really has me intrigued now.

47. Juliet meets Lord Montague, and he is NOT happy with her.

48. She's fearful of him, obviously, and unwillingly exits the club alone.

49. Episode 10 opens, and Juliet is not a fan of being called "ma'am." I mean, who is?

50. TBH, I wouldn't exit out the back either because these people are giving me a baaaad feeling. Juliet takes off running and is quickly caught.

51. Lord Montague has a moody demeanor, and Romeo quickly steps in to save Juliet.

52. The curly-haired cousin doesn't seem half bad as he offers them a quick escape plan to get away from Romeo's dad.

53. As Episode 11 starts, Romeo and Juliet have followed his cousin's advice and get out of the club.

54. Juliet finally reveals her name to Romeo, but refuses to share her last name.

55. Then...they kiss! Fireworks are flying, and Juliet asks Romeo to find her. But how???

56. It's Episode 12. Juliet tells Romeo, "I don't know, just find me." You couldn't share an IG handle, phone number...anything??? Girl.

57. Juliet is off to Father Lawrence's and Romeo is left in awe from the kiss.

58. Romeo hops on his bike and rides off as his father comes out of the club looking annoyed as he searches for him.

59. Despite the episodes being short, there's so much to unpack!

60. My final thoughts? I must know what happens next.
