Man denies attack on 25-year-old at building site

A man has denied stabbing a 25-year-old in the head with a screwdriver. James Denys, 36, pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent at Swindon Crown Court in Wiltshire earlier. Denys is accused of attacking Jamie Chappell at Widham Gardens building site in Purton, Swindon, on 23 July. Chappell's injuries were described as life-changing by Wiltshire Police.
