If it doesn’t make your life easier or more comfortable, what’s even the point?

As a resident writer on the BuzzFeed Shopping team, I can't believe that I get to search the internet to help you find the best, most unique, life-changing products for my job.

This stuff is used in a lot of high-end salons, too. So, you'll save a lot of coins when you consider all the trips not taken to get professionally waxed. You'll need a heater to warm up the wax — lots of reviewers mention using this one!

Promising reviews: "I don't like shaving my unibrow because I'm lazy and don't want to shave every other day. I used to tweeze all my unibrow hairs one by one; now I use this, which makes life so much easier. What used to take 15 minutes every week now takes one minute. I still tweeze the edges for accuracy, but this helps take out the entire center of the unibrow in one go, which is 90% of the work." —Ammar

"Holy crap. Please listen to this review. This is the best and easiest-to-use wax I have ever tried. It dries super quickly, and when it dries, it creates a vacuum seal around the hair. It does not stick to the skin in the slightest and cuts the pain down by 75%. I would pay $150 dollars for this stuff because it is so good." —Amanda

Read more about how a lack of arch support can aggravate plantar fasciitis at the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Promising review: "These are comfortable and provide good arch support. They a flannel-like lining on the inside that is very comfy. I have very flat feet and suffer from tendonitis, and I’m on my feet all day. I wore these for a couple of days (I walked 5 miles each day), and I felt like this helped to support my arches, which helped relieve my ankle pain and back pain. I can see myself using this while at home since we don’t wear shoes in the house here, just so I can get some arch supports. Great product. Thank you!" —Taratomo

Promising review: "I've been debating buying this clip for months now, but could not justify what seemed to be the outrageous price for a hair clip. I finally decided to just try it and oh.my.gosh! I am so glad I did! This clip is fantastic! I can sit in my recliner, and I can drive my car without issue. I have long, fine hair, but A LOT of it. I also have a ridiculously sensitive scalp and struggle with ways to keep the hair up off the back of my neck without either it pulling and scalp pain or getting a headache. This clip solves that problem. It holds all of my hair up, the entire day, with zero scalp pain or headache or even just tension on my hair. I could probably take a nap wearing it. Yes, it is expensive for a hair clip. But I have spent far more than the price of it searching for something that actually works in my hair. THIS THING DOES!" —Mrs.JCM

*And* it comes with a washable cover that has a non-slip backing and handles on the sides for easy portability!

I love to work at coffee shops from time to time since I work remotely. But the one thing that can literally make working there a pain in the butt is the hard, uncomfy seats. When I got to try this similar Purple seat cushion, it made a HUGE difference in how long I was able to handle sitting on the hard chairs there. And it's so soft (but equally supportive) that I actually use it when I'm working at my dining room table too, which is pretty much every day. There's just something so unique about sitting on the gel flex grid that they put inside — it's super cushy, but it also keeps it at a comfortable temp no matter how long you're sitting on it. I've never felt overheated or anything after sitting on it all day. And as someone that's part of the 🍑 big booty brigade 🍑, it's very generous in sizing.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this Purple seat cushion pillow! It’s incredibly comfortable, and I really appreciate that it has two different sides — one firm and one softer — so you can choose what feels best. It provides great lumbar support and has completely relieved my tailbone pain. I can now stand up with ease without that sharp discomfort I used to feel. I truly wish I had bought this sooner — it’s a total game changer and nothing like any other cushion on the market. The material is also amazing; it stays cool and doesn’t give you that hot, sweaty seat feeling. Highly recommend!" —Andrew Velez

Get it from Amazon for $139 (and you can also get a complementary back cushion!).

Prefer briefs? Check out this similar seamless design with rave reviews!

Promising review: "After trying these, the pursuit for the most seamless underwear ended with these, and I came to write that on my way to buy a second pack. I worked at VS for three years, what seems like forever ago, and tried every “seamless” thong under the sun- at the store and otherwise- all of which rolled, were still visible, or the liner was not cotton, which just feels gross by the end of a workout or the end of the day. These aren’t that. They DISAPPEAR under all the workout attire. Anti-camel toe… HELLO?!?! They don’t hold sweat. They don’t roll. They don’t move around.  I just had my fourth baby and first C-section a couple of months back, and these are wide enough in the front. What is this panty sorcery? I threw out everything else from anywhere else. Follow the size guide. I washed in warm water upon arrival, even with the red in the pack, and none of the colors bled. I’ve washed 2x, and they look the same as when I first opened the box. They’re wildly comfortable for a thong from someone who despises every thong and even other styles of underwear I’ve ever tried. Picky lady problems, the list went on. Always something wrong about them on my body. NOT THESE! What!?!! I work out in these, run errands, housework ahhhh — they’re my new go-to that I ditched everything else. Comfy, sexy, stretchy, actually so seamless that they don’t exist under clothing, and a fantastic deal… It’s sorcery, I’m convinced." —Ebony

Get a set of six from Amazon for $22.48 (available in women's sizes XS–4X and 10 color combos).

FYI: Many reviewers suggest sizing down!

Promising reviews: "These slides are — and I mean this in the best way — marshmallows that mold to your individual feet. They are SOOOO comfortable. The material in every part is molded and squishy, so there are no unexpected parts that dig into your skin or chafe. But they’re structured enough to provide some support for your arches. 10/10 highly recommend!" —Carrie B

"Love these. I’ve been wearing them for a few months now, and I feel like they have held up great. Will definitely be buying again. No blisters and lightweight." —Sprad

Get them from Amazon for $19.96+ (available in women's sizes 4–16, men's sizes 3–14, and 15 colors).

My boyfriend got to try this set and y'all... he was FEELING himself the moment he put it on. The fit was perfect and really just draped in a way that I could totally understand why he was having fun checking himself out (because I was also checking him out lol). And the fabric is truly the most buttery feeling fabric that he and I have ever felt. He legit did not want to take it off.

Promising review: "Soft yet sturdy material. Good thickness to provide warmth but still be breathable. All around good day-to-day hoodie." —Joseph B.

Yellow Leaf Hammocks is a small biz and was also featured on Shark Tank!

Promising review: "Writing this a year after purchasing. I love this hammock! It’s easy to hang, is comfortable, dries quickly and doesn’t mold. Last summer we had a lot of rain, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But no worries. I hosed it down, let it dry and packed it up for this summer. Unlike my last hammock, the Yellow Leaf hammock is actually comfortable on HOT days. The woven-ness of it lets air circulate unlike canvas or other hammock materials." —SM

YAAAALLLL! This cream literally changed my life as a lifetime member of the Thick Thigh Posse! It leaves such a silky matte finish between your thighs that feels so divine when wearing shorts or dresses. Trust that I have tried many, many products to beat chafing, and this is by far one of my top faves.

Promising review: "This is the holy grail of no chafing!!! I live by this in the summer, or anytime I have to wear swimsuits, shorts, dresses, or skirts. Goes on easily and does not feel greasy or gross on your thighs. It's unscented, so no strange smells. It also lasts for a long time — lasted all day for a Disney Trip. Best working stuff I have found, works much better than products that are in a deodorant stick style. I will never be without this chafing cream, even my husband has used this!" —aberfitchgr534

Fellow BuzzFeed writer Amanda Davis swears by this spray. Check out her Foot Matters Shoe Stretch spray review (#46) for more information!

Promising review: "I purchased my second pair of Dr. Martens three days before I was headed to New Orleans. Seemed like a mistake, right? Maybe it would have been if I didn't have this spray. I used it once and then walked around the house for a bit with some thick socks on. Then I sprayed the boots again, put beer cans inside them, and let them sit overnight. I wore my NEW boots all over three different airports (thanks to layovers) and all over New Orleans. These were the only boots I packed, too. It could have ended up a nightmare, but it didn't! My boots still have a little way to go to be fully broken in, but they're definitely ahead of schedule when I compare them to my first pair. I will use this spray on every pair of boots from now to forever." —lauren

This product’s packaging says to avoid using it around open food, so keep your chip bags closed and hot dogs covered while you hang out. But it should be fine to pull out a hot dog and a handful of chips if you’re going to eat them right away. Promising review: "I really enjoyed using the Thermacell insect repeller in my yard this spring. I find the device to be very effective, and each pad usually lasts long enough for most evenings we spend outside. I also like that it has minimal smell and doesn't require spraying anything or having more heat. It's still pretty cost-effective and worth the price. Overall, I would highly recommend this for insect control." —Krash

Coop Sleep Goods is a small business specializing in pillows, pillowcases, and sleep products.

I know that people say sleeping on quality sheets can make a world of difference. I guess I just really didn't realize HOW big of a difference it makes (or real talk, I totally underestimated the difference) until I tried out these ~divine~ cooling sheets. I live in the desert where temps can get well past the 100s for many days in a row, and our AC has been having issues again this summer. Thankfully, we got a swamp cooler to help with keeping the main part of our house cool, but our bedroom can still feel like a sauna. I can't tell you how delightfully lovely it was to get into bed with this set. Silky is an understatement — this is like a fine, whipped butter against your skin. And I was SO shocked at how cool I felt on them and, again, that's with no AC. I can only imagine we'd be shivering if the AC were working. They've truly been a Godsend during this ongoing heatwave. One thing I will note, though, is that they're pretty thin, and we have a mattress protector on the bed that pills like crazy. So the sheets are thin enough that we can feel all that pilling (which is def motivation to pull out the fabric trimmer). Not a knock against them AT ALL, but just something I wanted to call out.

Promising review: "I’ve never splurged like this on pretty much anything for myself, but this was soooo worth it. I got these sheets to hopefully help with my sleep because I’ve not been sleeping well. It definitely makes a difference to have these. They are nice and cool. They fit great, and they wash great! The wash instructions and everything were included. Because they’re on the spendier side, I wanted to make sure I had all of the info I needed to take care of them. After multiple washes, they still feel as soft as they did when I first got them!" —Kmart76452

Get a full-size set from Amazon for $288 (available in 10 colors and in sizes twin, California king, and split king).

Shaperx is a small business that specializes in supportive, compressive bodysuits in a variety of styles.

Promising reviews: "Comparing this to the Skims bodysuit. The size and fit is accurate for this shapewear and way more comfortable than Skims while still contouring my figure. The price is amazing, and [it] shapes my chest nicely; there is no flattening going on, and no need for a bra because this suit holds them well. Because of the shaping strength, it is a bit hard to get on, but that’s just a plus in my eyes once it’s on. Will be ordering different colors!!!" —Mina

"Like you probably did, I found this on TikTok. I was like, hey, it's $40, I have a gift card, let's try it. I received it in the mail, and it is 1/8 the width of my body. I thought: there is NO WAY. Dear reader, it fits INCREDIBLY. It's COMFY. It's not restricting! I've already purchased more. I love this. 10/10." —Allie Lawler

Get it from Amazon for $34.99 (available in women's sizes XXS–4XL and eight colors).

Promising review: "BEST SANDALS EVER. I wore these sandals every single day on a 16-day European vacation. I was in the water, streets, sand, and even hiking in these shoes and felt nothing but comfort. Being able to wear something transitional between the water and land was perfect for this trip. The adjustable velcro band stayed fully functional and is still as strong as new. These are by far the best sandals I've ever had." —Jackie Beauvaise

Get it from Amazon for $32.35+ (available in women's sizes 5–11 and 21 styles).

Promising reviews: "I bought these for our dress-up days in Hawaii and ended up wearing them way more than expected. There was a day I walked 10 miles (yes) in them and had ZERO pain, blisters, ouchies. Nada!" —Megs

"I love these sandals. I got so many compliments when I wear them. They are incredibly comfortable. They are lightweight, they have a great padded footbed, and I wore them walking around on vacation all day. The color is great and will go with anything. They are quiet and not clunky when I walk. I loved them so much, I bought more in other colors and styles." —Kristin

Get them from Amazon for $24.57+ (available in sizes 5–12, including wide sizes, and 61 colors/styles).

So, when this was offered to me to try out, I legit told the PR person that I'm not sure if there's anything I could love more than my Renpho eye massager, but I'm willing for the sake of curiosity to see what Bob and Brad have to offer. Well, y'all... I'm here to report that Bob and Brad have totally dethroned my Renpho eye massager! It's like they took every issue I had with it and created a superior alternative. I cannot believe how quiet this is comparatively to the Renpho version, which was my biggest complaint. Now, I will say the pressure is a lil' weaker than the Renpho (even when on high), but for the trade off of a much quieter machine, I will totally take it. I also love, love, LOVE the built in aluminum eye plates. They freaked me out at first, but they're actually a lot more comfortable than they look and they are ~divinely~ cooling. Plus, I love the lil' storage pouch that comes with it. It's definitely a quality bag and goes to show how much this brand cares about even the little details. I'm a huge fan now!

Promising review: "The BEST purchase I have made in a long time. I finally decided to splurge on myself and this has been the ultimate relaxation tool I have ever used. I have migraines, constantly work with people and computers, and have difficulty falling asleep. The music, different soothing modes, comfort, weight feels so light that I actually fall asleep with it on and I am notorious for being a terrible sleeper. My mind can’t focus on anything else which is a reprieve. I love that it does cooling and heating without having to detach another piece. It has a simple look, durable for daily use (so far) and has been well worth the money. I think the price is spot on for the quality of the product. I do wish the lights turned down on the side or could adjust the volume manually since I have been falling asleep with it but my husband says it’s not too bothersome. I highly recommend!" —Laura

It features four speeds, an ultra-quiet motor, and has a built-in remote compartment so you'll never wonder where you last put it.

Promising review: "I tend to overheat while sleeping, and this fan is wonderful. It has a remote that does ALL the fan adjustments, including setting the timer for it to turn off. The lowest speed is just perfect, and the noise level is very quiet. I do leave it in sleep mode, so the screen that lights up on the fan goes dark, and the fan doesn't beep while using the remote. Also, the oscillation is very quiet. " —Jonnel

Get it from Amazon for $64.97+ (available in five colors and two sizes).

It's also got a remote and wheels so you can roll the chill wherever you need it. It comes with two ice packs that can last between 4–6 hours, but reviewers mention you should also buy backup ice packs to have on deck for when they thaw out.

Just FYI — this will *only* work for people who live in dry, desert areas. If you have high humidity in your area, it will not cool things down, unfortunately.

Promising review: "I did tons of research before making an evaporative cooler purchase, and I am thrilled that I chose this brand. I live in the High Desert and have a large home evaporative cooler, which I love. However, it doesn't properly duct to my master bedroom, so I was looking for an effective (and cheap) cooling option for the summer months. Enter: the Vagkri cooler. So far, I have been thrilled with this evaporative cooler. What I love most about this unit is that it has a safety feature that automatically switches the pump off (the fan stays on) when the water level is low. So, it can safely be left unattended while sleeping. The design is also easy to use, and it is fillable from the top (albeit slowly), unlike other units. The timer feature is also an added bonus when I don't want it to stay on all night. I also reached out to Vagkri customer service to inquire about their two-year warranty and received a quick response. I couldn't be happier with the unit thus far!" —Dana Gerritsen

The formula is aluminum-free, so it won't stop sweating, but the tapioca powder can help absorb it.

Happy Nuts is a small business specializing in grooming products.

Promising review: "This stuff is 5–10 times better than regular powder! It instantly soothes irritation, deodorizes after a shower, and quiets the chafe after long sessions on the treadmill. I can't recommend it enough! Stop buying/using Gold Bond and other similar powders, and start using this. I'll be buying two more tubes in the near future." —Devin G.

I am truly amazed at how happy I am with the results! The lightly scented powder keeps me dry without caking, and I have not had the hint of an abscess since starting it. I love it! Thank you for coming up with such a great product!" —Tammy

Promising review (from Shark Ninja): "This is my new obsession. I’ll carry it with me all summer. It gets very hot in the desert where I live, and this is a lifesaver. The fan itself is powerful, and you can adjust the level to your needs. The dry-touch mist gets very cold without adding humidity to you, so you can target it just where you need it. The 'InstaChill' cooling plate is icy cold, and just touching it to me cools my whole body down instantly. The attachments are easy to change, and it comes with extra wicks for the misting attachment. It’s very fast-charging with a USB cord. The digital dial is simple to use. I simply love this and will be using it all the time!" —Colleen S

Check out how easy it is to apply sunscreen with this clever gadget in this TikTok.

Former BuzzFeed Shopping editor, Heather Braga, has also used this and says: "As a parent myself, I can confirm this gadget is fantastic. During the summer, I keep one in my diaper bag to ensure my kids are protected from the sun at all times. My kids loved being "painted" and I loved knowing applying sunscreen wasn't going to be a fight. I typically fill ours with Tubby Todd Mineral Sunscreen or Baby Bum SPF 50."

Solar Buddies is a small business based in the UK, founded by two moms, who set out to develop a product that would make applying sunscreen on kiddos easier.

Promising review: "I hesitated, but I originally saw this item on TikTok and knew it would make life SO MUCH easier when it comes to putting sunscreen on myself and my kids, and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed!! The sunscreen goes on so smoothly and evenly, and I feel like I will be saving so much sunscreen now that I'm not just squirting a huge glob in my hands and spending so much time trying to rub in a ridiculous amount into mine and my children's skin. My only regret with buying these is that I wish I would have bought a couple more so that I could have different ones for each of the sunscreens we use! But I will be recommending these to everyone!" —Carmen

Best of all — you just unbox, and it's ready to go!

Promising review: "I had contemplated buying one of the expensive Lovesacs but decided to roll the dice and try a less expensive option. Found this product, read the reviews, purchased it, and hoped for the best. OMG! It’s HUGE (bigger than I imagined in my head) and SO comfortable and supportive. You don’t sink down to the floor like in a traditional beanbag, as this doesn’t have 'beans' inside. The setup was so easy. Going to order another one for my adult son, who just got his first apartment. What a great product and a BIG money saver." —Brittany W.

So, I had been told that this blanket was next level in terms of coziness. But even with that warning, I was not prepared for how my body just *melted* into this blanket when I wrapped it around my shoulders. Like, for real, for real, this level of softness feels like it could only be achieved by magic or sorcery. And it's SO lightweight! I already know this is gonna be my fave blanket to use during the warmer months when I want to snuggle on the couch and have something over me, but obvi don't want it to be heavy and sweaty. I know it's supposed to be for travel, but it's so nice that I don't want it to ever leave my house, lol.

BuzzFeed Shopping writer, Emma Lord, recommends these *very* highly: "I have been buying a new set of these every year since 2020, and they have kept my VERY blister- and chafing-prone feet snug and moisture-wicked on every single long run. They've essentially phased out any of my other socks, because they're extremely comfortable to boot. As a runner who often clocks in 25+ miles a week and often in some "yikes!" summer heat, I cannot recommend these socks enough."

Promising review: "These socks are designed perfectly for running socks. The bottoms and toes are thick, the tops are thin, the lower heel is reinforced, the heel top has a tab that provides extra cushion on the Achilles, where some shoes like to wear into you. The size is true to fit.  I've purchased many packs of these, and they are the best I've tried." —SmokeyBear

Promising review: "I’ve been meaning to get something like this for years. Our patio has no cover at all, especially in early spring when the leaves aren’t back. The sun is unbearable at times. We bought the install kit and used it to attach the two sides to the house, and used a ratchet strap to attach the other end to a tree on the other side of the patio. So far, it’s holding up well. We added lights, which make it super cozy at night and completely change the feel of our patio." —Kaitlyn Tugend
