ADSK has lagged the broader market amid concerns about its relatively modest long-term sales growth and challenges in efficiently recouping customer acquisition costs. Over the past five years, revenue grew 14% annually, below typical software peers, while sales and marketing investments take longer to translate into revenue. For the current fiscal year ending in January 2027, analysts expect ADSK's diluted EPS to rise 40.2% to $9.70. ADSK has surpassed consensus EPS estimates in each of the past four quarters, which is impressive. Among the 32 analysts covering ADSK stock, the consensus rating is "Strong Buy." The rating is based on 27 "Strong Buy" ratings, one "Moderate Buy" rating, and four "Hold" ratings. ADSK's analyst configuration is more bullish than it was a month ago, when the stock had 26 "Strong Buy" suggestions. On August 18, Morgan Stanley analyst Elizabeth Porter maintained a "Buy" rating on Autodesk and a $315 price target, citing improving demand, stronger margins, solid free cash flow, and resilience against AI disruption. The mean price target of $320.72 implies a 30% upside from ADSK's current share price, while the Street-high target of $456 suggests a potential upside of 84.8%.
