Promising review: "This is definitely helpful to have on hand! The Ninja is small and slim but punches above its weight class in terms of usefulness. The tools are all things you might find yourself searching through a drawer for and are useful in a pinch. It fits comfortably in your wallet and will help you open a beer or tighten a screw. The coolest feature that I couldn't find on most other similar products was the credit card phone stand. It is great for planes and other travel applications (I haven't had trouble bringing this on a plane anywhere I have traveled, FYI)."—Mary

But if Cheirosa 62, which is a yummy scent mix of pistachio, vanilla, and salted caramel, is not your thing, there are also three other beloved scent profiles to choose from that range from sweet, floral, or woodsy!

Promising review: "Lately, I've been wanting to find a signature fragrance versus just smelling clean. I tried several perfumes, including high-end ones, and they just didn't seem to be a good fit with my body chemistry, or the smells just seemed to disappear. About a month ago, several ladies mentioned this brand on a group page, and I decided to give it a shot. I've been testing it for a couple of weeks now, and I am shook! It smells soooo good, and EVERY TIME I wear it (especially if I layer the products in this set), I get complimented. EVERY SINGLE TIME! And my husband, who never notices when I wear fragrances, immediately came up to me, hugged me, buried his nose into my neck, and told me I smelled amazing!" —LvrofAllThingsArt

Get it from Amazon for $34 (available in four scents).

Promising review: "BEST SANDALS EVER. I wore these sandals every single day on a 16-day European vacation. I was in the water, streets, sand, and even hiking in these shoes and felt nothing but comfort. Being able to wear something transitional between the water and land was perfect for this trip. The adjustable velcro band stayed fully functional and is still as strong as new. These are by far the best sandals I've ever had." —Jackie Beauvaise

Get it from Amazon for $38.50+ (available in women's sizes 5–11 and 20 styles).

Promising review: "I love this stroller! After years of hauling around a bulky, full-size stroller for all four of my kids, the Munchkin travel stroller has been a breath of fresh air. It's compact and lightweight, so it's perfect for quick errands, airport travel, or theme park days when I don't want to push around a tank. It folds up easily, fits in the trunk with room to spare, and still feels sturdy and smooth when we're on the go. My toddler is comfy in it, and I actually don't dread dragging a stroller around anymore. Such a great change of pace from my giant stroller! Highly recommend. 🙌" —Jess L

It's also designed to be a universal fit for most strollers, and some reviewers (see photo) even use it on the back of wheelchairs.

Promising review: "This is an absolute must-have for parents with babies and young kiddos! When we are out and about, I hate carrying the bulky diaper bag. This totally eliminates the need for that. It is incredibly spacious with one huge pocket and several other small pockets. It easily holds several diapers, wipes, sunscreen, a change of clothes, snacks, water bottles, wallets, cell phones, and even my cross-body purse. It fits well on the stroller and doesn’t cause it to tip even when it’s packed full. Truly the best thing I’ve purchased in a long time!" —Kelli C

Get it from Amazon for $25.99+ (available in two variations).

So the brand was kind enough to send me one to try out, and I can't tell you how excited I am for the next long flight I have to use it! It really does feel like you're in your own lil' world in there, and the neck support is legit. No bobble head sleep while you're in this baby. I feel like this, along with some Loop earplugs, would be part of a long flight starter pack if you are dead-set on getting some sleep.

Promising reviews: "The Pluto pillow made my international travel a breeze! I was able to sleep soundly on my flights and experienced little to no jet lag. It is a fabulous product. Thank you!" —Lizzy C

"Spent at least half of a 12-hour Frankfurt to San Francisco flight cocooned in my personal Pluto pod. Popped in some earplugs, dropped the Pluto shade, and I was out like a light, even when the flight attendants threw the cabin into a full spotlight and dished out their microwave meals. Total game changer." —Andrew T.

So, I had been told that this blanket was next level in terms of coziness. But even with that warning, I was not prepared for how my body just *melted* into this blanket when I wrapped it around my shoulders. Like, for real, for real, this level of softness feels like it could only be achieved by magic or sorcery. And it's SO lightweight! I already know this is gonna be my fave blanket to use during the warmer months when I want to snuggle on the couch and have something over me, but obvi don't want it to be heavy and sweaty. I know it's supposed to be for travel, but it's so nice that I don't want it to ever leave my house, lol.

E Marie is a Black-woman-owned small biz that creates luxe clothing items, blankets and accessories so that you always feel comfy while traveling.

It also includes five different air nozzles, like one for your bike tires!

Promising review: "I bought this because I misplaced my other one. Having a compressor and jump pack all-in-one has saved me (and friends) many times. I charged this up and was able to test it right away. My car had been sitting for a couple of weeks and had a dead battery and a flat tire. I first jumped the car, and it started right up. I then inflated a fully flat tire to 32 PSI. Worked like a champ! It also serves as a power bank for cell phones and the like. If you don't already have one of these, I highly recommend them for emergencies! They pay for themselves after one use." —tom hill

Promising review: "I bought these for my mom's car and mine a while back and these little things are great. Since I got my license I've hated merging or switching lanes; I never felt good or safe doing it. Since having these its been a blessing, I feel less like a scared new driver. I'm currently encouraging my sister and friends to invest in these too! These are also great for backing up, because you can see exactly how close you are to hitting the car behind, and it's helpful when I parallel in the city." —Mariam Abass

Promising review: "I bought this product to take on our vacation. I am so glad I did. I got burnt on my lower legs and tops of my feet. I thought I had put enough sunscreen on. I didn't. That night, I woke with my legs and feet both burning and itching. The instant I put this on, I had relief. OMG, I cannot say enough about this stuff. Buy it. Keep it on hand. Great product. Thank you, Burt's Bees!" —D.S.

Promising review: "Game changer for travel! We were gone for two weeks, and I was able to wash all the clothes I had packed! Helped with using only a carry-on for the trip and kept my clothes fresh and clean! So easy to use and smelled nice! Will never travel without them again!" —Kristy

Get three packs from Amazon for $6.97+ (available in two scents and in packs of two or 12).

Promising review: “When these first came out, I was skeptical. Now I'm a believer! Always had one in my desk at work. Now I have one with me whenever I travel. If I've worn something for just a couple of hours for dinner and gotten a few drops of coffee on it, I can't see sending the garment to the hotel laundry. I just use my Tide Pen. Works great on men's ties. At first, it looks like nothing's happening, but keep working it, and suddenly, the spot magically disappears! It helps to put a tissue or paper towel behind the area you're cleaning. They take out just about anything and don't leave a ring, as my prior spot-cleaning efforts did. The pens are small, so they're not practical for huge stains, but for small mishaps, they're amazing.” —GlamGalLovesStuff

Check out our closer look at the LifeStraw for more.

Promising review: "I frequently hike and camp in the backcountry all over the United States. Carrying the amount of water that I need to survive during these trips is just not feasible due to the weight. I recently took a LifeStraw out for a test on a backcountry hike in the Rocky Mountains. Every stream, lake, and every other water source that I came across I stopped for a drink. The one drawback to the LifeStraw is that it does take a bit of suction to start and keep the water flowing. When you're at high altitudes in the mountains this leads to longer 'drink breaks' since you can get winded pretty easy while trying to suck up water through the LifeStraw. However, its size and weight advantages when hiking in mountainous terrain vastly outweigh this minor drawback." —Charlie

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three colors and up to a pack of five).

Also, the floor is completely waterproof, while vents allow internal moisture to escape! So no need to fear waking up in a puddle from a surprise rain.

Promising review: "This tent works great; simple and fast set up. 2 adults and a 6yr old. Sleeps great head to foot. Handles condensation well in 25-29 degree nights. Also great size for an air mattress when car camping, yet light enough for the longer backpacking/hunt trip." —Luke A

Promising review: "I have left the house on numerous occasions and needed a hair tie and could never find one. I could dig through my purse, diaper bags, and car, and there was never a hair tie lying around. I have had to refill this hair-tie holder on about five occasions because of how many times I've taken hair ties off for myself and the friends who need one. Great invention." —Samantha

Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (available in three colors).

Rinseroo is a small business specializing in problem-solving cleaning, pet, and travel products.

Promising review: "I used these on my travel toiletries on a month-long road trip. On several occasions, the toiletry lids opened, but none of the product leaked out of the toiletry skins. I was even able to pour the leaked shampoo back into the bottle. I rinsed out the skin and placed it back on for the next leg of my journey. These are my new travel must-haves." —Tyson Mohr

Get a four-pack from Amazon for $11.99.

Just FYI — reviewers say the pumps struggle with thicker consistencies.

Promising review: "These make travel so easy and cute. First, it’s the perfect amount for what’s allowed on flights. No questions were asked, and I got through security with no problems. I bought two and had my shampoo and conditioner in one and face wash and sunscreen in the other. I will admit that you can’t use a very thick soap in them, though. My shampoo, conditioner, and sunscreen pump out fine, but my face wash was too thick to use the pump." —Amazon Customer

Get a set of two from Amazon for $7.99+ (available in three colors).

Promising reviews: "Don't be fooled by the tiny price or size; this little baby is serious. If you are looking for a small travel option rather than lugging your big straightener and giant curling iron around the world, then I think you'll love this. It performs really well, turning my frizzy, wavy hair into a smooth and sleek style. The curling iron option also creates shiny, silky lasting curls! It's easy to transition between both. I also like the grippy handle and the fact that the curling iron clip is a different color than the straightening bars because that helps me see how I should be maneuvering it around. The voltage goes up to 240m, so you are good using it internationally without a converter (but you will need an adapter just to fit it into various foreign outlets). At this price, definitely give it a try and flaunt your tresses abroad." —Christine

"Took this to Europe. It worked great. The barrel is a bit short, but I have short hair, so it worked. My hair is extremely curly and it worked great. There is only one setting of heat, which is hot." —Barbara Hagy

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in black or white).

Promising reviews: "As a flight attendant, I can't always be sure my hotel has a hair dryer, so I bought this one, and it hasn't disappointed me! It folds up to about the size of a roll of toilet paper, so it doesn't take up much room. It's powerful, too!" —Billy In Orlando, FL USA

"I ordered this for a recent international trip and loved it. For a small dryer, it has a great output and did wonders on my thick, curly hair. It has a dial that allows you to change the voltage and is very compact. A perfect handheld dryer to take with you when the hotel dryer just isn't enough." —TexasAggie

Get it from Amazon for $18.99 (also available in a pack of four).

Promising review: "Are you a parent who is sick of picking up everything your kid accidentally drops off their lap while on a car ride? If not, lucky you. If you are… this thing is great! We recently went on a beach vacation that involved a 9-hour drive each way with my 4-year-old. Usually, he drops stuff while playing with it. With this, everything stayed on the tray! It also helped him balance his tablet to watch, held his drink and food stuff in place without anything spilling, and gave him a space to draw and play on. Easy to take on and off for potty breaks." —Dawn Michele

Get it from Amazon for $25.99+ (available in 11 colors/prints).

Promising review: "The perfect companion for traveling with a toddler who loves to snack and prefers being independent. I can fit about 12 average-sized grapes in it, about 5–6 regular-sized cookies, about 8–10 mini cookies, a big handful of small cereal, such as Cheerios, and about 10–12 standard Ritz crackers. These estimations are all things that I regularly place in there for him to snack on. Nothing spills out, and whatever does come out is whatever he grabs with his hands to get, which is amazing. The only thing I would suggest is placing foil or plastic wrap around the mouth of the cup to prevent any of the snacks from getting stale from being exposed. The lid doesn’t fully cover the snack from air exposure. It simply protects the snack from spilling over and promotes child independence." —Antoinette

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $5.96 (available in two color combos).

Promising review: "Recently bought and brought on a girls’ trip to London after seeing it multiple times on BuzzFeed top travel lists. Holy crap, did it come in handy! Barely made it out of security before my friend’s baggage handle broke completely off. She thought she was going to have to lug her carry-on through the whole trip, but I used this item to fashion her a new handle so she could drag the bag behind her and utilize the wheels. It made the trip so much easier for her. Not exactly how I had planned to use the item on the trip, but I’m glad I had it so I could help her out, and it held up the whole trip despite rather rough use through the airports. Overall, great product, looks exactly as shown, very happy I bought it!" —Johanna

I own both a regular Luka and a large Luka, and both are fantastic bags! Not only do they come in such fun colorways, but if you are someone who likes to be meticulously organized when going on a trip, you'll love all of the thoughtfully designed pockets this bad boy has. I would say that a regular Luka is great for a weekend getaway or as a gym bag, and then that the large Luka is more ideal for longer trips. My only nitpicky thing is that for some variations, the zipper is not the same color as the bag, which clearly didn't stop me from getting the bags, but as an aesthetic girlie, it does annoy me. But they have now started to match the zipper to the color of the bag for new colors, which is super exciting! And again, the bag is so amazingly designed that even I still use it despite the clashing zipper.

Promising review: "Great fabric, perfect size, and the perfect color. So many useful pockets and love the hidden compartments for passports, etc." —Jeannie

Get it from Calpak for $98+ (available in three sizes and five core colors; then each size has a varying amount of limited edition colors, and the small size doesn't have a shoe compartment).

You can also switch between pound and kilogram measurements.

Promising reviews: "I cannot imagine how we would have managed a big international trip without this. It saved us so much stress and, I’m sure, surprise charges at the airport." —Potter Freak

"This scale works and was accurate on four flights. The first flight was a test at 46 pounds, and Delta scales said it was 46 pounds. The next two flights were at 49 pounds, and both United and Delta found it to be 49 pounds. The bag on the fourth flight weighed 49, but the United scale found it to be 48 pounds. Four different airports and scales proved that this scale is a good, low-cost, must-have item for air travel." —Robert

Promising review: "This product worked flawlessly! I travel often for work, and hated that I couldn’t use my Apple AirPods on the airplane to watch in-screen entertainment movies, until I discovered the AirFly Pro. I paired these with a dummy device before traveling in order to create the initial connection. Once I got on the airplane, I plugged the AirFly Pro transmitter into the headphone jack, turned on my AirPods, and it instantly connected. I would happily recommend these again. Promising review: "I don’t ever write reviews on Amazon, but I love this sound soother. I am an adult and travel regularly, and am a light sleeper who needs noise cancellation in hotels. I bought this because it charges with a lightning cord, the same as my phone/other devices. I was looking for something with a decent white noise sound (not high pitched or tinny), used the same cord, and had battery life of up to 3 nights. This fit all the criteria and is also very compact and cute in the blue color. Additionally, the nightlight feature is wonderful, and the buttons glow at night so I don’t have to use my phone flashlight to change the settings - a really nice feature!" —Bel

Promising reviews: "I flew on a four-hour plane ride using Dramamine and then a 30+ minute car ride to my hotel. I was so nauseous and wiped out that I spent the next day feeling like I had a hangover. Yesterday I took the same car ride and flight home (but using the Sea Bands), and I was unaffected by any of it! Any time in the stop-and-go traffic that I thought I was feeling motion sick, I rubbed the button against my wrist and immediately felt better. These bands are going with me anytime I travel from now on!" —Kindle Customer

"These work. They’re amazing. Complete game changer for car rides for me. People are like, 'iT’s ALL In YOuR HeAd.' If that’s true and it’s a placebo effect, I really do NOT care. They work, and that’s all that matters." —Broadwaygirl

This kit had all of my must-haves (and that list was long) and more. It is a compact bag that will fit into the trunk of any car. The way it is packaged allows you to easily see and retrieve the items needed without rummaging through the entire bag. I did, however, put the safety hammer in the glove compartment — just in case. The kit was well worth the money. In fact, I am purchasing additional kits to give as gifts for new drivers, new car owners, etc. What better way to say 'I care' than to give them the gift of safety!" —Beach Bound

And here are some small scented trash bags, too!

Promising review: "I love this, and I am super excited to have now realized they make a larger size! I enjoy a clean car, and I also enjoy road trips (which come with snacks, drinks, etc), and this trash can has changed my life (in the car at least) for the better. It easily fits behind my console on the floor, it hangs on the seats easily, and you can adjust tightness/looseness, or you can just sit it on a seat if you’d like. The lid does not fully close, but it keeps the trash in extremely well. There truly is little to no installation, which makes it well worth its price in gold. This trash can is not the largest one they offer (which I didn’t know until I bought another as a gift), but it does come in a variety of prints for everyone. I will continue to buy this for every car I own, as a gift, and even just to replace the current one when it gets old. Love, love, love!" —Caron Mershon

It also works on my roller carry-on handle during layovers." —Earendil

BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life. We center readers over revenue, recommend products with authenticity (using real experiences, not ad-speak), and reflect our diverse audience, inclusive of a variety of price points, people, and needs. We cut through fake deals, favor useful info over glossy fluff, and recommend both budget and splurge options with context so you can decide what’s right for you — and still have a little fun along the way.
