There are lots of ways to cool off now that summer is heatin’ up — here are a few to get you started.

I've spent the last four years as a Shopping Writer at BuzzFeed covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to must-have Amazon products, personal care, home and organization, and more.

Promising review: "I will never buy another pair of warm weather PJs again other than these. I am a thirty-something post-baby lady, and with my hormones paired with living in Arizona, I needed PJs that were cool and comfortable. But I often found that the fabric of other PJs would rapidly get worn, pilled, and rough. These silky soft PJs have been going strong for months now through countless hot flashes and heat waves when it would get into the 80s in our bedroom. If you are a hot-blooded person and need to cool down, I can't recommend these PJs enough. I literally never leave reviews but felt compelled to preach to others the good word of Latuza's PJs." —Margery

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Maitland Quitmeyer says: "I have a similar cooling blanket because the fabric of my couch is gorgeous, but...gets VERY hot in the summer — they can make all the difference!"

Promising reviews: "Sorcery! I don't know what makes this blanket work, and I don't care. The fact is that IT DOES!!! I overheat at night a lot because I live in Arizona. I got this blanket at the exact right time, and I'm THRILLED!!!" —Amanda Julia Hess

"I run really hot and I have tried so many various blankets. Well, I am here to tell you, this is the one you need. I live in the southwest where temps exceed 110 degrees regularly in the summer. I used to wake up sweaty every single morning, even with the AC on. Well, come to this blanket, and WOW, No more waking up sweating; you can ACTUALLY feel the cooling. Almost feels as if the blanket has a built-in AC. This is the blanket to get; stop searching and just order it. I promise you'll like it." —Brantley Rockwell

Promising reviews: "Cools like total freaky MAGIC!!!! Bought another set a week later because we love them so much!!!" —Stella Lee

"Super happy with these pillowcases — both sides are fairly cool, but the cooling side never warms up, which is wonderful in 110-degree California summers. They do not smell (something I worry about with nontraditional linen fabrics). They do tend to get a little wrinkly, but since they zip up, they quickly smooth out." —Tonia

Get them from Amazon for $14.71+ (available in three pillowcase sizes and in 16 colors).

Promising review: "Liquid I.V. does an amazing job hydrating. I purchase their product for 40+ employees who work in a construction-related industry. Hydration is so important while working in the hot Georgia sun, and this product aids in this 100%. Now, let’s talk about the firecracker flavor! When we produced these for our crew, ages 23–60, all of their eyes lit up, and they were super excited. Many of them did not know this flavor existed. Quite honestly, I didn’t either until I came across them on Amazon. They all loved the flavor. In particular, the ones who were older kept telling me it tasted like their childhood. Seriously, who hasn’t stood outside an ice cream truck ordering the Firecracker Popsicle?" —Disney Diva

My colleague Amber Usher swears by it: "Naturium is a staple in my body care regimen, so when I found out about this version, I knew I needed it immediately. I live in Georgia, and ever since I started using this body wash I've noticed a significant reduction in body odor throughout the day whether I'm outdoors gardening or doing my daily Hot Girl Walk. The scent is so light and fresh, and the cooling sensation is especially appreciated."

Promising review: "When I say this works for BO, it’s magic. For someone living in a hot state, working in a hot job, always working out and sweating, this product keeps you in check ALL DAY! No skin irritants, no dryness, and I feel clean. The mint isn’t strong so you can feel the tingle, but not for long. I let it sit on my skin for at least three minutes before rinsing off. Best soap ever! I will continue to use this. Forget Dove antibacterial, forget Dial, BUY THIS!" —Shelby

It's sleek and narrow, so it won't take up a ton of space in your room, and it looks surprisingly cool! It comes with a remote control so you can turn it on from your bed, and the LED lights turn off in sleep mode, so you don't need to worry about being disturbed.

Promising reviews: "Cools like magic. Great fan. It’s super hot this summer, and I would not survive without it. Several speeds and functions. Quiet. Durable thus far, and it has run 18 hours a day every day since May. I didn’t think the remote was a big deal but now I wouldn’t want to be without it. Would recommend and buy again." —Javygirl

"I am elderly and live in Texas, where we have 100+-degree heat on a daily basis in the summer. This is, hands down, the best and most powerful fan I have experienced. I love it so much that I bought a second one for my sister, who is heat-sensitive. She got rid of the two tower fans she was using as this fan cooled her room." —TJ

Awesome!!" —Denise Davis

Thigh Society is a woman-founded, size-inclusive small biz from Marnie Consky.

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Chelsea Stuart loves these: "I recently bought two pairs of these — in black and nude — and I am simply in love. Chub rub has always been a part of my life and until now, I didn't have a great way of preventing it. I've tried various sport shorts and slathering my thighs in deodorant but those methods just weren't cutting it. These shorts are unbelievably lightweight and breathable, superrrrrr stretchy (but not in a way that bags out after extended wear), and they do. not. roll. or. fall. down. I wear them under all of my skirts and dresses (because I also have an irrational fear that everything I wear is see-through when the sun hits it) and I will definitely be buying more!"

Promising review: "I bought these to wear under dresses for a trip to Europe because it was supposed to be really hot, and they worked great. They were light, stretchy, and there was no chafing. Maybe not the most moisture wicking, but they were very comfortable, and I wore them several times." —Meghan O'Leary

Promising reviews: "Upon planning our vacation to the beach, I ordered sunscreen, suntan lotion, and sunburn relief from Amazon and packed them in our beach bag. Day two of our vacation on a cloudy day on the beach in Florida, my husband got sunburned on his feet, legs, and chest. He started putting sunburn relief on his skin the same day he got burned and we are on day four and he never peeled, was not in pain, and his sunburn is now tan. This lotion truly works and will be a staple now in our home." —ymucnxigv

"This is my favorite lotion of all time. If you get a sunburn, this stuff is awesome. It soothes the pain and prevents peeling and helps keep your tan. I also use it just for moisturizing after the shower and even for razor burn. It's essentially just coconut oil, aloe, and some other essential oils so you can even use it on your face." —Jason R.

Promising review: "I brought this with me on a cruise, and I’m so glad I did! After a little too much sun on the deck, this spray was a total lifesaver. It provided instant cooling relief and took the sting out of my sunburn right away. The spray made it easy to apply without having to rub it in — perfect for those sensitive areas. The aloe was super soothing, and the lidocaine helped calm the burn fast. It absorbed quickly and didn’t leave any sticky feeling behind. Definitely a must-have for any sunny vacation or cruise — I'll never travel without it again!" —Barbara

Promising review: "I LOVE this mattress pad. I let it breathe as directed. Living in Florida, I find that my bed is always hot at night. I have been using this for a week, and I can feel the coolness of this mattress pad any time I wake up in the night. It is very comfortable also, adding a pillow feel to my bed. There is also a lot of space for any depth of mattress. I have a regular width mattress and I can easily tell a pillow top would be covered just as well. Well worth the purchase!" —Julie Santello

It comes with a long 7.7-foot power cord and a 12-volt cigarette lighter plug.

Promising review: "Perfect for children and pets! I have this hooked up in my 2016 Chevy Cruze. The plug-in part is long enough to be hidden along my seats and plugged into the outlet. I love the fact that I can manually control the speed of the fans right at my fingertips. This is perfect for any smaller car or SUV that doesn’t have AC flow to the back. We live in the South and it gets extremely hot in the backseat, so it takes a while to cool down. I highly recommend this!" —Alexandria

Promising review: "Just tried this primer along with the E.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation and I cannot say enough good things! The primer felt clean and light going on. This is hands down the best primer I have used. The two products are amazing. Def my new favs! Love love love!" —Cozette

Promising review: "I have had this pool for about two weeks now and I LOVE IT!!! Was simple to set up, I got a little electric pump and it took about 10 minutes to inflate, then about half an hour to fill with water. Pay attention to make sure you set it up on level ground or it will be lopsided. I live in South Carolina so it is already hot and humid, and I use it about every afternoon. It is probably good for two adults, maybe one adult and a couple of kids. The built-in seat and headrest are really quite comfy and relaxing. I will definitely buy this same pool again if it springs a leak and can't be fixed, if I could give it 10 stars, I would. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!" —Kathryn J.

Promising review: "I got these to make ice cubes that I could fit into hot water bottles to make 'cold water bottles.' I'm in the big heat wave, and it's been over 100 every day for the last week with no sign of it letting up any time soon. These are quick and easy, and the cold water bottles have been the only thing helping me sleep in a room anywhere between 80–90 degrees at night. I love the lids! It makes my ice trays easy to stack and more secure. I wish all ice trays came with lids like this!" —A.J. Stark

The umbrella attaches easily to the chair and can move as the sun does to ensure you don’t get burned. I’ll be getting another one for my pale friends to use. I love the pattern, too!" —Missy

Promising review: "Very durable metal! Solid yet easy to carry. Folds back into the carry bag so quickly and easily! Great for busy moms or solo beach days! It fit this reclining beach chair perfectly with plenty of adjustable space. It held in place all day on the windy beach. Even the ties for the back stayed in place with the wind! Protected me from the sun but allowed for plenty of visibility and adjustment was easy as I reclined or as the sun moved. Very wind resistant! Love the black to block the sun to read or check my phone." —Faith1212

Chill-O-Matic is a small business that specializes in beverage accessories.

Promising review: "I was so afraid of wasting money. But I didn’t. I love my sodas cold. But sometimes there’s not a cold one available, and waiting 30-40 min for one to get cold in the freezer is not always ideal. This will get your room temp can to fridge cold in 90 seconds. I let it run double that to get almost freezer cold. I wish it had a power cord. But I do appreciate the portability that the batteries provide. I can’t wait to try it out on vacationing, as access to cold sodas isn’t always available. All you need is literally a little bit of ice." —G. Massey

It comes with the flexible tubing, brass and stainless steel mist nozzles, a hose washer, and hanging snap clips.

Promising review: "I love spending time outside, and we entertain on our patio, too. But when it's over 100 degrees outside, nobody feels like visiting. Until now!! I bought one and liked it so much I ordered another to cover both patios. They lower the temps to a more moderate level in just moments and don't use 100 gallons of water doing it! I put mine along the top of our privacy fence and then put a fan in behind it and made it almost like having an AC unit outside. They're easy to put up and take down and come with convenient hanging hooks! I read the reviews people wrote about the heads getting stopped up, and they WILL, but as a plumber I'll tell you a trick to keeping them working like new: vinegar. Just remove the heads and soak them in a little straight vinegar, then use a small bristle brush like a toothbrush or nail brush rinse them off, and replace them in the mister tubing, and they should be like brand new." —Sonya Combs

Promising review: "We moved from New Hampshire to Florida a year and a half ago. I knew Florida was hot but…I bought this so I could sit out on the lanai on the hottest of days (95+) and it did the trick! It provides a nice light mist that you can move in any direction. It’s a nice weight so it doesn’t move. It obviously cannot replace a swimming pool but it will keep you cool. My dog likes the light mist and has even fallen asleep while being sprayed! An easy alternative until we get a pool! Buy it, you won’t regret it!" —Patricia Harty

This worked like a charm, and I even bought the puff and powder for other areas I didn’t want to put this on. You do have to make sure that you get the whole area, if you miss the smallest section, you’ll notice. But 10/10 would recommend." —S Freeman

Promising reviews: "Fantastic on hot days to roll over face, eyes, cheeks, and neck area to cool down for heat relief (and prevent headache triggers). God bless whoever created these!" —DebA

County Line Kitchen is a small business specializing in mason jar–style cold brew makers, pitchers, and accessories.

Promising review: "During the summer, hot coffee is typically the last thing I want in the morning. I work from home, so finding a good way to make cold brew has been a goal of mine for several years. In the past, I've tried using a French press, and the results were OK, but the biggest problem I had was that it just made too small a quantity of coffee at any one time. I saw this unit on Amazon and decided to give it a try. So far, it's been very good after three or four batches of coffee. It makes considerably more than my French press, so it lasts me a couple of days. Once I finish what's in it, I rinse it out and immediately grind more beans and refill it so it's ready again by the following morning." —Rich

Get it from Amazon for $24.99 (available in black or gray).

Promising review: "For those not fully familiar with how it works, what it's accomplishing is trying to surround your liquid with as much ice-behind-metal as possible. So, it has a center chamber of ice behind the metal, then an outer chamber of ice. The inner chamber fits inside the outer with about a cup's worth of space that's between the inner and outer chamber. This exposes your liquid to the greatest surface area of super-cold metal that they can, and since your liquid is only touching metal, and not the ice itself, it doesn't matter the temperature of the liquid poured in. You can pour in boiling water and while it may end up melting a bunch of the ice behind the metal, none of that water will mix with your drink. So, whether you're chilling a wine, dropping hot coffee to cool it off, or just wanting to rapidly drop the temp of that fresh lemonade you made without making it watery, this will get that done." —P. Promising review: "This fan works so well! I was worried with how hot it is in the South that it wouldn't keep me cool when I go on walks in 90+ degree temps, but on the strongest wind setting it produces a nice blast of air! I love it! It does make it hard to hear, but it's worth it to keep me cool. Would recommend." —Aaron Johnson

Read more about how temperature therapy can help with migraine prevention at Mayo Clinic.

Y'ALL! I've been a chronic migraine sufferer for years so I was skeptical that this ice pack would be any better than others I've tried. Thankfully, I was wrong. It's not flimsy at all and has some good weight to it while still being super soft and flexible. In addition to 360-degree cold (or heat!) therapy, it also provides *gentle* compression that's wonderfully soothing when a headache hits. You can pull it all the way down to cover your eyes (🎶 hello darkness, my old friend 🎶) or push it slightly upward to sit on your forehead, which means you'll still be able to see and do things if needed. I also LOVE not having to balance an ice pack on my forehead while trying to get some relief. The included freezer bag keeps it nicely contained so it doesn't come out smelling like all the frozen foods it's stored with.

Promising review: "I heard about it on TikTok, and I was skeptical. I put it in the freezer as soon as I got it in the mail. Then, out of nowhere, I felt a headache coming on. I pulled it out of the freezer, slipped it on, and I passed out. When I woke up, my migraine was gone. I now go to bed with it on almost every night. I love that it's a blackout mask. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!" —TheWalkFam
