Here Are 4 Things To Watch This Weekend, Plus The Best Reactions To "House Of The Dragon"

All I am thinking about is “House of the Dragon” lately, if I’m being honest. As a Senior Talent Booker and Producer at BuzzFeed, you can typically catch me flailing about the buzziest TV shows and movies. Based on Harlan Coben's book of the same name, I Will Find You follows David (Sam Worthington), who is serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son. However, he suddenly receives new evidence that suggests his son might still be alive. The only catch? He needs to break out of prison to hopefully uncover the truth of what really happened to his son and clear his name. This show is No. 1 on Netflix, and for a good reason. Is it the best show of the year? No. But is it a highly addictive thriller that you can’t look away from? YES. The cast, made up of Worthington, Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, and more, helps drive this latest Coben adaptation. It has all the components of a great Netflix show: a wild thriller where you don’t know what’s going to happen at any turn, with a great cast. Honestly, that’s all you need to know in order to binge-watch this season in one sitting. A prequel to Legally Blonde, this new series follows a high school-aged Elle Woods (Lexi Minetree) living her best life until her parents rock her world: They are moving. Now, Elle finds herself a new kid at a Seattle high school, which may as well be a totally different planet from the one she came from. The show explores the life experiences that shaped Elle Woods before she attends Harvard Law School. I watched this whole season and can honestly say that I loved this fresh, young cast. They are so good together. Minetree is great and really embodies a young Elle Woods, too. But it’s actually a shame that this being a Legally Blonde prequel hinders it so much. If this were an original teen drama, I think it would be much better, but every so often, as you’re swept up in this story and characters, you can’t help but think, Wait, this makes no sense in relation to Legally Blonde?! Elle can’t undergo too much character growth based on where we meet her in the first movie, so all of this great storytelling feels unnecessary. That being said, the show has already been renewed for Season 2, and I will be watching and supporting this stellar cast. Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) returns with the third installment of this beloved Netflix film franchise. Enola Holmes 3 finds our beloved detective on the hunt for adventure in Malta. It is there that personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before. There is something so wholesomely sweet about these movies that I can’t help but love every single one of them. Do I remember the plot of these after I finish them? Not all the time, LOL. But each one is so fun. This one tackles a more grown-up installment than the last two, and Bobby Brown and Louis Partridge are always delightful together on screen. The romance, stakes, and overall heart of the Enola Holmes franchise, I think, make it one of Netflix’s best, and it’s great to get this charming installment. The first one still remains the best, but this is a fun watch regardless. After hitting theaters earlier this year, The Sheep Detectives has started streaming on Prime Video, which means more people are discovering the adorable sheep movie that 100% made me cry (along with everyone else). In this wholesome comedic mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who enjoys the simple things in life: tending to his flock and reading good mystery books. However, when he’s suddenly murdered, George’s simple life might be more complicated than anyone in his small town of Denbrook even realized. Now, while the town tries to figure out who killed George, it’s really his flock of remarkably bright sheep that are hot on the case. Can his sheep help find his murderer before time runs out? Yes, it’s a movie about talking sheep trying to solve a murder, and it’s just as delightful as you could imagine. If you had told me at the beginning of the year that The Sheep Detectives would be one of the most poignant films of 2026 and include an outstanding depiction of grief, I would’ve honestly laughed. But here we are, with The Sheep Detectives being one of the best surprise hits of the year. These are some of my favorite things from my FYP, feed, and more: the way emma acts so hard i completely forget rhaenyra isn’t a real person i was literally sobbing with her pic.twitter.com/Qg4rhiGD5R Also, have a question for me? Of course, there are a ton of Disney ones that come to mind, like The Emperor’s New Groove and Meet the Robinsons, but I think there are also other ones outside of Disney, too. Like, Anastasia and The Iron Giant are so phenomenal, I feel like a lot of people growing up might’ve thought they were Disney movies. As for more recent animated movies that I think deserve more hype, I’ve got to go with The Mitchells vs. the Machines and Nimona. I adored both of these movies so much that they even made my list of my favorite new movies of the year when I watched them. I highly recommend! There are a bunch of underrated animated movies I personally still need to check off, too, like Kubo and the Two Strings.
