Every month, we round up recommendations from writers and editors across BuzzFeed for products they've tried and love, to help you discover vetted things you might also love. Yes, these are our personal reviews! In our July 2026 edition, we're loving all kinds of smart finds, including some parent-approved disposable bibs and placemats, a carry-on that'll change your travel game, and the *easiest* way to fix any eye makeup mistakes. "It seems like everyone and their moms are discussing wide-toe-box shoes, and I'll be real with you: I was sooo against it at first... You're telling me you want me to wear shoes that make my feet look even bigger? Well, dear reader, I finally converted to the wide-toe-box shoes trend, and they are legit the comfiest shoes I have ever worn. Hoka who...? No, honestly, I have a pair of Hokas that I also love, but they do not compare in comfort (for me!) to the Altras. I specifically have the Women's Experience Flow 3 X Pleasures because I found them to be the style that looked [the least] boxy-toed, and great for walking. They are true to size, supportive, and actually kind of (dare I say it???) cute? I have worn them every single day on my 3-mile walks for the past month, and I am a complete convert. I actually don't think I could wear any other type of sneaker at this point.... #HELP!!" —Lara Parker Get it from Altra for $160 (available in women's sizes 5–12 and men's sizes 5.5–15). Select colors also available on Amazon for $144.95 (available in women's sizes 4–12). "I'm a huge fan of the viral Biodance Bio-Collagen Overnight Face Masks. They're surprisingly comfortable to wear overnight, and the glow they leave behind in the morning is seriously impressive. So when I saw that they basically transformed that formula into a sprayable mist, I was immediately intrigued. When I first looked at the bottle, I was shocked by how thick and jelly-like the mist looked — how in the world was this going to dispense from the spray nozzle? To my surprise, it dispenses as a super-fine mist that feels immediately refreshing and provides that same ✨ dewy glow ✨ as the face masks! I've been keeping this at my desk as a way to freshen up throughout the day." —Daniel Boan Get it from Amazon for $13.30 (available in two formulas). "I’ve been looking for a swimsuit top that is thick enough to provide good coverage and secure enough to stay in place while I swim. Swimming is one of my favorite forms of exercise, and when I’m diving, doing laps, or doing flip turns against the wall, I really dislike when the force of the water causes my top to shift. This swim compression top stays in place while I’m swimming, so I don’t have to worry about adjusting it. I also like that the material is thick enough to provide coverage when I’m cold, but it still feels lightweight and does not slow me down in the water. It feels similar to wearing a sports bra, with full coverage, support, and comfort. Overall, it’s a great swim top for anyone who wants something secure, comfortable, and practical for swimming." —Brittney Trinh Get it from Carve Designs for $78 (available in women's sizes XXS–XXL and nine colors). "I'm always looking for easy ways to add a little more fruit and veggies to my 2-year-old's meals, especially when we're eating out, so I was excited to try these pouches from Sophie's Organics. They're made with simple, organic ingredients and make healthy eating feel incredibly convenient when we're on the go. I like having an option like this on hand to balance out restaurant meals, which can be surprisingly high in salt and added sugar — even on the kids' menu. And yes, I absolutely tasted them myself before giving them to my son, and they're genuinely delicious. The Blueberry & Banana flavor honestly reminded me of a Jamba Juice smoothie (just with ingredients I feel a lot better about). I also love that the brand was created by a nutritionist and mom who clearly understands what busy parents are looking for. Overall, this was a great first impression, and I'll definitely be keeping a few of these pouches stocked in my bag going forward." —Crystal Ro Get a pack of six Blueberry & Banana pouches from Amazon for $22.99 (also available in Mango & Butternut Squash and Broccoli & Pear). "I don't know if it's the shape of my eye or my clumsiness, but I ALWAYS get mascara on my lid, and it annoys me so very deeply. I just cannot ignore it and go about my day. I've tried just using my trusty Neutrogena makeup wipes to clean it up, but it's so difficult to get close to the lash line that I end up taking off more of my makeup than I wanted to. Which is even more annoying to touch up as a perpetually late person. I gave these swabs a try, and now I always want them on deck! I'm able to remove my mascara and eyeliner mishaps more precisely. (They come in handy for cleaning up a cat-eye look, too!) Plus, it doesn't make my lid feel greasy or oily, unlike a previous makeup stick I've tried. It's so quick and easy that it's become one of my go-to makeup hacks. And you may be wondering, 'Can I just use a regular cotton swap dipped in liquid makeup remover?' The answer is yes. But if you're lazy and/or always rushing like me, then having these ready-to-go at all times is worth the $9!" —Kayla Boyd "Okay, as a long-time Away luggage user, I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this new Quince carry-on with the laptop pocket for travel. At a certain point, isn't all luggage kind of the same? Well, yes, I thought so anyway. But man oh man, I was beyond pleasantly surprised with Quince's journey into luggage. Low-key, this luggage has changed the way I travel. I pretty much always travel with my laptop, but having to carry an extra bag just for my laptop has always irked me. It's just one extra bag I have to carry, and my back pain suffers enough on planes without the added weight of a shoulder bag. I just want to breeze through security with one bag, and not have to pay a company $250 to do this?? So the price point of the Quince luggage was a huge selling point for me, but it was also slightly worrying that the quality would be lower given the price. But I'm being honest: if you put this suitcase side by side with the Away's and the Beis's of the world, I do not think you could tell the difference, and in fact, I think you might even like this one more! The organization in the front pocket and inside the actual suitcase is a game changer, and quite frankly, I'm done paying high prices for luggage. Quince entering the luggge game is legit. Consider me sold." —Lara Parker Get it from Quince for $169.90 (available in seven core colors and three limited-edition colors). "I basically swim in the Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada lotion (it smells so freakin' good), so I jumped at the chance to try this jelly perfume stick. It most certainly did *not* disappoint. It takes two seconds to swipe a little on behind my ears and onto my wrists, the same spots I'd typically spray a perfume, and because it's a solid, I feel like the scent stays put longer. It's ridiculously easy to take on the go — it's the same size (if not smaller!) than a lip balm. I absolutely love it and will definitely be using it more throughout the summer to reapply as needed." —Heather Braga Get it from Amazon for $26 (available in three scents). "As a mom to a very active 2-year-old, I've tried my fair share of disposable placemats and bibs, and these from Parasol are easily some of the nicest I've used. The material is surprisingly soft, absorbent, and much higher quality than most disposable options I've come across. The bibs actually remind me of the protective bibs you get at the dentist (in the best way!) because they're sturdy without feeling plasticky. I also love that the placemats are larger than most disposable versions, which is especially helpful when my son somehow manages to get more food on the table than in his mouth. They fold up flat in my diaper bag, stick securely to restaurant tables, and make cleanup so much easier when we're eating out... Overall, they've become one of my favorite restaurant hacks for dining out with a toddler." —Crystal Ro Parasol is a small biz specializing in baby essentials. Get a pack of 80 bibs for $36.67 and a pack of 80 placemats for $36.67 from Amazon. "I'm always on the lookout for non-plastic dishware for my toddler, so I was excited to try these ceramic plates from Ello. They're made from porcelain ceramic instead of plastic, which I appreciated because it feels like I'm constantly hearing about microplastics and forever chemicals these days. I'll be honest, though — ceramic toddler plates sounded like a terrible idea at first because if you have a toddler, you know they're constantly throwing things...including plates. That's why I thought the silicone bumper was such a smart addition. It gives the plates a little extra protection and makes me feel a lot better about handing one over to my 2-year-old. I also like the divided sections for serving different foods, and they're super easy to toss in the dishwasher after meals. They feel like the perfect in-between plate: more grown-up than baby dishware, but still designed with toddlers in mind. Bonus: the silicone bumpers come in really cute colors, and overall they don't look like typical kid dishware." —Crystal Ro Get a pack of two from Amazon for $24.99 (available in four color combinations). It's recommended to store this in the fridge to slow down oxidation and help the product last longer! If you use this in the morning, be sure to follow with sunscreen. "I've been using this product myself for the past couple of months (I gave it some time to see results), and *I* honestly want to gatekeep it — but I can't do that to you, dear readers. You have to be patient and use it every day (I use in the a.m., following with sunscreen), but after a few weeks, I began to notice that my face looked noticeably brighter and glowier. While I wish the packaging was a dropper instead of a pump (for easier application), I've gotten such clear results from this that I'll definitely repurchase." —Jenae Sitzes "I do not think I am the type of person who looks good in aviators. Unfortunately for me, the comfiest pair of sunglasses I have ever worn happens to be the Goodr MACH G Aviators. A friend actually gave me these sunglasses after finding them in the back of her closet. I was like, sure, I love free stuff even if this is the style of sunglasses that look the worst on me. But I have severe TMJ and can't wear most sunglasses styles or brands without developing a headache within 30 minutes. Trust me, I've tried MANY. I am PICKY about my sunglasses for good reason. And I could not effing believe how comfortable these sunglasses were. I immediately googled them after discovering that they never bothered my face after wearing on walks, and found out they cost $40??? And then I immediately ordered more. They are [wildly] comfortable???? I also love that they are polarized, because when I look at plants on my walks while wearing these, everything automatically looks cooler. So I guess I wear aviators all the time now. Which is not great for my self-esteem, but freaking incredible for my lack of headaches and the urge to not live a life of pain!" —Lara Parker Get them from Amazon for $40 (available in 10 colors). "I discovered these mists at Sephoria 2026 and was gagged! I knew Touchland had hand sanitizers, but I didn't know they had fragrance, too. I have locs and only wash my hair once a month when I go to my stylist, because I hate when my roots get super frizzy. As you can imagine, after a while with the sweat, oil, and smell, a lot is going on at the roots. I can spray this on my hair, and any lingering odor is *actually* neutralized inside of just being masked by heavy fragrance." —Amber Usher Get it from Amazon for $20 (available in eight scents) and Touchland for $20 (available in 14 scents).
