The three-day event, which will take place in Athens, Greece, from 15-17 September, is expected to bring together more than 700 leaders from across the consumer goods value chain, including brands, retailers, manufacturers, policymakers, NGOs and solution providers. The meeting will mark the 15th edition of Cascale's flagship annual gathering and the first under McGuire's leadership since she took over as CEO on 1 June. According to Cascale, this year's programme will focus on how companies can more effectively share the costs, responsibilities, incentives and benefits associated with supply chain transformation while strengthening business resilience and competitiveness. "As the industry navigates rising expectations alongside growing operational and economic pressures, collaboration must become more actionable, measurable, and business-driven," said McGuire. "I see this Annual Meeting as an opportunity to convene leaders around a shared vision for progress — one where sustainability is embedded into core business strategy, supported by trusted data and aligned incentives, and capable of delivering value across the entire supply chain. My vision for Cascale is to help the industry build the partnerships and accountability needed to accelerate that transition at scale." The hybrid event will feature more than 80 speakers across four stages, alongside virtual participation options designed to broaden access for global stakeholders. Cascale said the agenda is centred on practical approaches to financing and implementing sustainability initiatives while encouraging greater alignment across the value chain. Members of the event's advisory group stressed the need for stronger collaboration between different parts of the industry to deliver meaningful progress. Jonathan Salmon, head of sustainability at Li & Fung (Trading), said: "Supply chain transformation requires deeper collaboration across every stage of production and sourcing. Cascale's Annual meeting creates a space where manufacturers from all tiers, brands, sourcing organisations, and solution providers can exchange practical experience, learn from one another, and develop scalable solutions to the shared challenges facing today's and tomorrow's consumer goods industry." Similar themes were echoed by representatives from Nordstrom, Primark, Recover and Textile Exchange, who highlighted the importance of aligning sustainability priorities with business decision-making, investment needs and long-term resilience. Monica Buchan-Ng, industry activation lead at Textile Exchange added: "The challenges facing global supply chains cannot be solved by single actors, nor single perspectives. Bringing together voices from across the sector—NGOs, industry organisations, manufacturers, brands, retailers, and solution providers—means we are able to respond to these shared challenges collectively, and in a way that works for everyone. A strong program is one that enables those in the room to understand their role in driving meaningful progress, but also how they can support others to do so." The main and impact stages will be livestreamed as part of the hybrid format, allowing participants to engage virtually alongside in-person attendees in Athens. With a long career in the tech and non-profit sector, Cascale's new CEO recently sat down with Just Style to tell us about her origins in a textile manufacturing town in Shanghai. "New Cascale CEO to outline transformation plans at 2026 meeting" was originally created and published by Just Style, a GlobalData owned brand.
