If you’re chronically 10 minutes late, this colorful timer will help make sure your kiddo knows time is ticking and they need to get dressed.

I am a contributor and former BuzzFeed Shopping writer based in Cincinnati, OH where you can find me curating lists on ~a little bit of everything~ (and adding a few things to my own cart in the process).

Promising review: "My son started kindergarten, and this is a big help for my husband and me. It's so nice having one less thing to stress about in the morning. It also helps my son to recognize the days of the week and how many days we have left. The sleeves are a good size for smaller clothing, pockets seem pretty durable. I had some issues with the door, which was hanging on closing, but I then moved it. Easy to use and a good value." —Deanna

Promising review: "I really like this for my kid's Duplo Lego bricks, but I think it could be used for a lot more than that. I want to get one for my kids' train track. The fabric part is really large and would fit the track on it. I found the cleanup is extremely easy; all you do is lift up the fabric, and it all goes in the bin. An added bonus, my 2-year-old can dump over the bin, and it stays on the fabric part. I also would like to add that I like the fabric on the outside of the bin; it looks durable and good quality." —KFundy

Reviewers love this because it doesn't require you to "smart enable" other parts of your home, and you can also set a schedule to automate different functions in your home! Also, just note if you want to connect with Alexa or Google Home, you'll need a Hub Mini.

Promising review: "This is exactly what I was looking for and had no idea it existed until I saw someone mention it on TikTok! Our front walkway gets pretty dark at night, and I was frustrated with trying to remember to turn on the light every evening and off every morning. I looked into those light sensors you can plug in, but our front porch light is under an awning with enough shade that it would have kept the light on 24/7. This little Switchbot solved the problem. I applied it to the indoor light switch and set the time on my phone. It has worked perfectly ever since." —Alecia McLochlin

Promising review: “Worked great on my son’s high-top Converse! I didn't expect these to work so well on high-top shoes, but they do! We aren’t waiting 15 minutes for my son to get his shoes on to go to school, so these are totally worth it! My son doesn't use the top holes, so 45 inches worked, but I would have gone longer if I had known.” —ThriftyCouponMom

Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy.

Promising reviews: "This is my favorite product for my daughter. It really moisturizes her curls. I love seeing how beautiful and bouncy her curls get. It made my life easier styling it. The scent is a plus, also. Definitely recommend, and I will be stocking up." —Girl_mom

"This spray is amazing! It works wonders on my 2-year-old's hair. With her hair being curly, it gets tangled so easily. I use this spray at night after I wash her hair or in the morning before brushing it. It helps detangle her hair while making it soft. Her curls really plump out when using this product. It also stays soft all day, even after playing outside. The spray bottle is great as well. It doesn’t leak down the sides like some do when you use them. It also has a convenient lock on it so I can put it down and not worry about my daughter spraying it everywhere." —Juliet King

Reviewers swear this brush works on all hair types: straight, wavy, or curly (from 3a–4c hair).

Promising reviews: "PSA to moms of children with wild tangly hair. This brush is amazing! It's usually a huge hassle for me to brush my daughter's hair because it tangles so easily. She says it hurts, I say deal with it, and then an epic battle ensues. I've had this brush for two days and it has made my life so much easier. It glides right through the knots, she says it doesn't hurt anymore, it doesn't cause as much breakage as a regular brush, and it makes her hair look soft and silky. I'm kinda hoping her hair tangles during her nap so I can use it again!! 😂😂😂" —Amy D.

"My 6-year-old loves it. We got it at the same time as a natural hair detangling spray for kids. Together instead of spending a long time brushing long tangly hair and being late for school... we are out the door in a matter of minutes. And, it doesn't tear the hair out. The product just works." —DYM

You store the formula and water inside and with the push of a button, it'll dispense, mix, and warm the bottle exactly the way you want it. BuzzFeed shopping editor Heather Braga and contributor John Mihaly both say this is one of the best investments they made in their first years as new parents.

Promising review: "This is 100% worth every penny we paid for it. It makes bottles in a matter of seconds and at the perfect temperature. It was also very easy to assemble and is also very easy to clean. It makes late-night/early-morning feedings an absolute breeze. 10/10 recommend!" —Maggie Crist

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Heather Braga has this and says, "When I had my first child I used the Baby Brezza Bottle Sterilizer and Dryer, which is absolutely fantastic, but still had to hand wash and scrub the bottles before popping them into the machine. This new FANTASTIC model takes that completely out of the equation. I got it before having my daughter and it has truly changed my life — not an exaggeration. I haven't used a bottle brush ONCE and she's almost 8-months-old! It has six different cleaning modes, but I always use the 88-minute one that does all three features. The only somewhat downside is you'll need to purchase detergent tablets, but I promise you it's worth it.

Here's what you'll need to do: fill the front partition of the machine with your bottles/nipples (or pump parts, whatever) and drop the detergent tablet into the bottom. Next, empty any water from previous cycles from the water basin and replace it back in the machine. Finally, fill the top container with clean (I used filtered) water up to the max line mark, then pop that back in as well. Choose which cycle you want to run and, BOOM, you're done! The whole water dumping/refilling process probably takes about...... five minutes? It is a bit bulky, so rather than keep ours in the kitchen we leave on top of our washing machine. It's also worth noting it holds four bottles at once, so we typically need to run it twice a day. TL;DR: It's a miracle machine."

Promising review: "My daughter couldn’t reach the faucet to wash her hands and this was so helpful for her to be more independent and wash her hands by herself." —Caro Losada

Solar Buddies is a small biz based in the UK, founded by two moms who set out to develop a product that would make applying sunscreen on kiddos easier.

Promising reviews: "My daughter absolutely hates getting sunscreen and lotion rubbed on, so I was looking for something to aid in making the process faster. I found these, and wow, what a game changer. I got the two-pack and use one for sunscreen and one for lotion. It has sped the process up, and she doesn’t try to crawl away anymore. So far they have held up very well through many uses and being thrown in a diaper bag for travel. It helps dispense the product evenly and spread it out in the same step. Would recommend." —Paige J.

"I hesitated, but I originally saw this item on TikTok and knew it would make life SO MUCH easier when it comes to putting sunscreen on myself and my kids, and I have to say, I am NOT disappointed!! The sunscreen goes on so smoothly and evenly, and I feel like I will be saving so much sunscreen now that I'm not just squirting a huge glob in my hands and spending so much time trying to rub in a ridiculous amount into mine and my children's skin. My only regret with buying these is that I wish I had bought a couple more so that I could have different ones for each of the sunscreens we use! But I will be recommending these to everyone!" —Carmen

No more excuses from him since he uses the toothbrush app, gets to brush along with his fuzzy, cute friend, and earn virtual prizes. Wow! I began to think nothing would ever wake her! I decided to try this alarm clock in the hopes that I would no longer have to set aside 30 minutes every morning to wake her. We have had this clock for about two weeks now, and I have not needed to go up to wake her since its arrival!! ChooMee is a small biz based in Northern California, owned by a mom, that specializes in innovative products that solve everyday feeding challenges.

*And* they are reusable… when they've finished a pouch, you can just toss the lid in the dishwasher!

Promising reviews: "Are you tired of your infant squeezing their food pouches all over themselves? The floor? And most importantly, your nice dress shirt as you're trying to leave the house in the morning and you're already running late for work, and no matter how many breakfast burritos from Whataburger you bring into the office, your boss is going to kill you for being late again?! Not saying that would happen to me, maybe you, but not me. Why? Because I bought these little puppies before that could ever happen. The one-way valve saves the day. And even my manly, manicured, buttery soft hands can't squeeze hard enough to get a drop out. Save your shirts and your jobs. Buy these tops!" —J. Mueller

"I am OBSESSED. I saw these on TikTok and ran to Amazon... so glad I did! My toddler loves yogurt/applesauce pouches, but started purposely dumping and squeezing the contents out. But these make it absolutely impossible for her to do that without making it difficult to eat! I tested them, and it’s SO easy to drink out of, but I was unable to squeeze anything out. 10/10 recommend. I’m definitely buying more." —Amanda

They suck it down, so I don’t waste any giving them a little by little and having them spit it out. My girls are 6.5 months old, so it works great for coordination too! Would buy again!" —Kallie Pope

"BEST THINGS EVER!! My little one is 10-months-old and a little miss independent. She HATES when I have to help feed her. She LOVES the applesauce pouches, but always squeezes them and makes the biggest mess ever! I thought these would be worth a shot. I was right!! Works awesome for her with juice boxes, too! AND she's happy because mommy doesn't have to help!! I would definitely buy them again, and I told EVERYONE with littles how much they need to buy these!" —Kaila

Promising review: "I can’t even begin to describe how excited I was to get this Caboodle for my baby girl’s hair accessories! The moment I saw it, I was instantly transported back to my own childhood — sitting on the floor with my bright, glittery Caboodle, carefully organizing scrunchies, snap clips, and those little butterfly barrettes. It was my treasure chest growing up, and now I get to pass that magic on to her. The Caboodle itself is just as cute and functional as I remember. It has the classic flip-top lid with the tiered trays that make organizing a breeze. I use it to store her bows, headbands, rubber bands, and tiny brushes. Everything has a place, and it’s so easy to find what we need during those hectic mornings. It also looks adorable on her dresser, and she already loves opening and closing it, pointing to her favorite hair pieces. I know she’s still a baby, but I can already tell she’s going to treasure this just like I did. This wasn’t just a purchase — it was a full circle moment. Nostalgia meets practicality in the best way possible. I can’t recommend it enough for moms looking for a fun and functional way to organize their little one’s things… or just relive a little '90s magic. 💕✨" —Fallyn
