Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) faced off with a Fox News Digital reporter in a heated exchange that the outlet uploaded on Saturday.

The testy battle of words between Massie and reporter Nicholas A. Ballasy began when Ballasy approached the congressman on the street to ask about comments made by Cynthia West, his former staffer, who has also claimed to be his ex-girlfriend.

Speaking on MAGA loyalist Laura Loomer’s podcast “Loomer Unleashed” last month, West alleged that Massie pressured her to sign a nondisclosure agreement and bragged to her about a sexual encounter with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) following the 2024 death of his first wife, Rhonda Howard Massie.

“Is that true, what she’s saying about you?” Ballasy asked.

“Who are you with?” Massie replied, to which Ballasy said, “Fox Digital.”

“It’s all false,” the congressman said.

Things suddenly took a turn when Ballasy pressed Massie over whether West’s claims about his intimate encounter with Boebert were true.

Massie reiterated that the allegations were all false, prompting the reporter to ask, “Why do you think she’s out there saying it? Was it because of the primary? Ahead of the primary? What do you think is motivating it?”

Ballasy was referring to Massie losing the Republican primary last month to challenger Ed Gallrein, who was backed by Trump.

“When did you all become a tabloid?” Massie fired back. “Seriously, dude.”

Massie suddenly whipped out his phone to record Ballasy, who had been recording him first, and began hurling questions back at him.

“So let me ask you, I heard that you like gay porn,” Massie said. “Is that true?”

“I just want to give you a chance to give your side of it...” Ballasy responded before Massie fired back, “I’m giving you a chance to give me your side.”

“I’m not gonna get into that,” Ballasy said.

Massie then questioned if Fox News Digital was a real organization.

Ballasy attempted to end their conversation by walking away, but Massie continued to follow him.

“Come back, man!” Massie hollered as Ballasy continued walking. “All you gotta say is you don’t like it, that you’ve never been to those websites.”

“Of course I don’t like it,” Ballasy said.

“Really?” Massie shot back. “That’s not what I heard.”

“Thank you for your time. Just giving you a chance to respond,” Ballasy said as he continued walking away.

Before the clip ended, Massie asked, “And you’re with Fox? Is that a real news organization? Is this what you do for a living?”

On Sunday morning, Massie posted footage of his encounter with Ballasy, captioning the post, “Voyeuristic Fox reporter @NicholasBallasy unsure and uneasy when questioned about alleged gay porn watching habit.”

Earlier this month, Boebert similarly lashed out at Ballasy after he questioned her alleged affair with Massie.

“Fuck you, first of all!” Boebert said in the clip. “If you’re gonna bring me into this, like, this sexist stuff is, like, out of control. So there’s your clickbait that you were looking for. I don’t want to talk about anybody’s exes and the crazy shit that they do.”
