HIVE Board Member Sells Nearly $1 Million Of Company Stock

A board member at HIVE Digital Technologies (NASDAQ: $HIVE) recently sold nearly $1 million U.S. of company stock. Dave Perrill, who sits on HIVE's board, sold 175,000 shares of the company for proceeds of $820,750 U.S. The stock sale occurred on June 19 of this year following the vesting of stock options that he owned. Following the sale, Perrill currently holds no shares in HIVE Digital Technologies. However, he has another 325,000 of unvested stock options in the company. Perrill is an independent board member at HIVE Digital. He is also the CEO of privately held Backbone Digital; a compute infrastructure platform focused on inference workloads. The share price of HIVE Digital has surged over the past year as the company pivots from being a Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) miner to an artificial intelligence (A.I.) data centre manager. HIVE stock has risen 133% over the last 12 months to trade at $4.14 U.S.
