Arrest made after man refuses to leave address

Officers have now made an arrest after a man refused to leave a property in Shepshed. Leicestershire Police said it attended an address in Britannia Street on Sunday morning to carry out an arrest attempt. But when officers arrived, a man refused to leave the address. Armed police were called and cordons were put in place while police responded to the incident. On Sunday evening, police said a 51-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of affray and remained in custody.
