RFK Jr. Has Another Weird Interaction With An Animal — And It's Caught On Video

Things have just gotten weirder with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his proclivity for bizarre interactions with the animal kingdom. Kennedy showed that he’s apparently added snake wrangler to his resume after he posted an X video on Tuesday of himself snatching up two black racer snakes from what appeared to be the patio at fellow Trump official Dr. Mehmet Oz’s beachfront house in Palm Beach, Florida. “Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr Oz’s patio,” Kennedy captioned the post. But in the clip of the face-off between the slithering reptiles and the secretary, Kennedy’s wife, Cheryl Hines, who nervously watched on as he was repeatedly bitten by the snakes, didn’t exactly hide that she was less than thrilled about his antics. Hines is heard repeatedly blurting out, “Bobby, why?” as Kennedy worked to corner and capture the snakes, who were apparently mating in Oz’s back yard. Once he snagged the snakes, Kennedy held them up for the camera, grinning as they wriggled around in his hands. “You are nuts,” the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star told her husband, who appeared unfazed and chuckled as the snakes repeatedly bit him. “Are they biting?” Dr. Oz appeared to ask off-camera. “Yeah,” said Kennedy, who was dressed in less-than-ideal snake-wrangling gear: a light blue dress shirt, blue tie, and dress pants. Fortunately for Kennedy, Southern black racer snakes are nonvenomous. “Honey, honey. Let them go,” Hines said in the background. “Oh my God. Bobby, Bobby. Please. Oh, God.” Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr Oz's patio. pic.twitter.com/A0iiRzOeIF Social media users flooded X with reactions. “RFK picking up snakes barehanded is the most normal thing he’s done all week,” someone quipped. Another took a jab, writing, “A snake oil salesman removing snakes. Oh the irony.” “Now do the snakes in Congress,” a separate user added. “I’m pretty sure that’s not cheerleading …” another person added, responding to Kennedy’s caption about Hines. Kennedy has made a habit of capturing animals this month as he posted a photo of himself snagging a bird at Dulles Airport outside of Washington, D.C., on May 3. “Starling rescue today at Dulles Airport,” he captioned the post alongside a photo of himself dressed in a blue suit while holding the bird. Back in July 2024, Kennedy captured another snake that appeared to slither into his backyard. In the footage he shared on his official Facebook page, the secretary, dressed in a blue shirt and jeans, trapped the snake in a bag before later relocating it.
