“I’m a wedding photographer, and I hate how people assume that we just inflate the price when you put the word ’wedding’ in anything.”

"As an RVT (registered veterinary technician), people think we make as much as human nurses, and either think that we play with kittens and puppies all day, or say they could never do what we do because of all the sad things we see. We definitely aren't paid nearly as much as human nurses; plenty of us live paycheck to paycheck. In a general practice, the good outweighs the bad things we see during our shifts. We do get to play with kittens and puppies, but not ALL day."
