(NewsNation) — Prince Harry made a surprise trip to Ukraine and is showing support to its people. Harry arrived in Kyiv on Thursday to shed a light on people helping the injured and the veterans of the war in Ukraine. Harry spoke at a special security conference during his visit, telling leaders what’s at stake for the country as it faces off against Russia and that the war is more than a territorial dispute, according to ITV News. The Duke of Sussex said he wanted “to remind people back home and around the world what Ukraine is up against and to support the people and partners doing extraordinary work every hour of every day in incredibly tough conditions.” Harry, a veteran himself, told officials at the Kyiv Security Conference that he’s visited Ukraine three times and that it was an “honor” to return.
