It seems safe to say there aren’t many fans of Vice President JD Vance in Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” audience.

Colbert pointed out that Trump’s social media post this week depicting himself as Jesus Christ ticked off Christian supporters so much that some are now questioning their loyalty to the president.

A Politico report cited by Colbert found some are already “looking beyond Trump,” which caused the host to start daydreaming.

“Did he say a day beyond Trump?” he asked in disbelief. “I can see it!”

With a golden light falling on him, Colbert pictured an idyllic scene from a post-Trump world.

“I can breathe again,” he said as a field of flowers appeared on the screen. “There, beyond Trump, a new day dawns. And look! Here comes the sun!”

But inside that sun ― “Teletubbies” style ― was Vance.

“I’m JD Vance,” he said as the “Late Show” audience groaned and booed while Colbert doubled over and pretended to have the dry heaves.
