Sudan's war still misunderstood after three years

April 15, 2026, marks three years since the war in Sudan broke out.

In that time, some Sudanese people say framing the war as a conflict between two generals, one leading the army and one leading the Rapid Support Forces, misses the point. Instead, they say this is a war on civilians.
