Man hospitalized after being hit by car in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 32-year-old man was sent to the hospital Sunday night after being hit by a car in Lansing, the Lansing Police Department tells 6 News. Officers were dispatched to the area of Saginaw and Larch streets after receiving a call for a car v. pedestrian crash. Police say the man was crossing through the intersection when he was hit by a car. 6 News crew arrived at a large police presence in the area at around 10 p.m., where they could see at least seven Lansing police cars blocking traffic at the intersection. Our crew saw flares set up and one shoe lying on the road, along with a Toyota van surrounded by LPD cars. Police say the driver of the vehicle is a 23-year-old woman.
