Adjusted net income totaled $105.0 million, with an adjusted EPS of $8.49. CEO Daryl Kenningham pointed out that the company produced record results across all business divisions. The firm repurchased approximately 10.1% of outstanding shares while conducting acquisitions and divestitures to maximize its portfolio. Group 1 Automotive, Inc. (NYSE:GPI) operates in the automotive retail industry. The company also sells new and used automobiles and light trucks, arranges vehicle financing, sells service contracts, offers automotive maintenance and repair services, and sells vehicle parts.
