Dallas-Fort Worth expected to see Sunday full of storms. Here's when it could get severe

The wet weather is finally reaching Dallas-Fort Worth, with a strong chance of rain and thunderstorms. Sunday is starting with showers, which will continue until 1 p.m. with day temperatures topping out at 79 degrees and wind gusts as high as 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service's Fort Worth office. With a 90% chance of precipitation, the amount of rainfall could range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch. Overnight temperatures will bottom out near 67 degrees with wind gusts climbing as high as 25 mph. The coming week might bring some sunshine to North Texas, especially on Monday, before the showers return on Tuesday. There will be a few more sunny days, but the chances of storms will linger on and off throughout the week.
