Best of all, some of these products can also be used for other devices like cell phones, iPads and other tablets, so you can really get your money’s worth. Available in different sizes for different Kindle models, this three-pack of screen protectors is great for both protection and reducing the glare on your Kindle for a better reading experience. The five-layer protectors are scratch-resistant and matte, and reviewers have shared many tips on the best and easiest ways to install them without leaving a bunch of air bubbles. Promising review: "The only thing I regret is not having bought these sooner. It doesn’t even feel like there is a protective covering over my screen. The screen protector feels almost exactly like my Kindle (no fingerprints, and same soft paper like feel), it was easy to apply, I was able to get all of the air bubbles out, and it covers the entire screen." —Emily Kay Get them from Amazon: for the 12th-gen Paperwhite for $7.65, and the 11/10th gen for $8.99. Instead of having to pay attention to the battery life of your Kindle and keep track of a charging cord, this charging dock allows you to just dock your Kindle when it's not in use and keep it charged. Compatible with multiple Kindle models and able to charge it even with a case, the dock has an LED light that indicates when the Kindle is or isn't properly docked. It can charge your Kindle back to 100% in as little as two and a half hours. Promising review: "I didn’t know what I was missing until I received my charging stand. It keeps my kindle always charged and easy to find. Even works with the kindle cover on. And it is a bonus for reading at the table as I don’t have to hold the kindle all the time (arthritis). Sturdy. A Best Buy for me!" —Robyn If you want a little more out of your Kindle case than just a cover, look no further than this Cobak case which is made of PU leather and features a hand strap that makes the Kindle easier to hold in one hand, a stand so you can prop your Kindle up and even a card slot to conveniently store any essential cards or cash on the go. I'll be honest — I was kind of a skeptic that a page turner remote was necessary for a touchscreen device like a Kindle, but the many use cases for this bad boy may have swayed me: From helping with wrist pain thanks the ergonomic design to reading hands-free in bed when it's cold out so you can keep your hands warm under a blanket, reviewers have found many reasons to love this little gadget (especially when you pair it with a stand, which we'll get to later). You just clip the sensor to your Kindle when you're using it, and press a button to turn the page. The remote has a mute button so you can read silently, and one USB charge allows it to last up to a few weeks. The remote also works with iPads, iPhones and Android tablets, so it can also come in handy if you own multiple devices. Promising review: "Honestly the best invention EVER! I use this daily. This and a kindle stand completely change the game! They hardly ever need charged and make reading so comfy!" —Brittany Get it from Amazon for $33.99+ (available in six colors). We've covered this neck light before for its many practical uses: You can wear it to read, work, draw, knit and more without using your hands or relying on an overhead light. Some Kindle models have limited light and brightness options, and regardless, you may prefer not to stare directly at a super-bright screen to read. For that, this separate light source like this can come in handy. The light's three color temperatures and six brightness level modes allow you to use it in bed without disturbing your partner's rest (it also has a narrow 90-degree beam). You can get this one in seven colors. Promising review: "I bought this reading light because I didn’t want to clip a light to a book or kindle. So I saw this design and thought it was exactly what I needed. It’s comfortable hanging around my neck and the features are excellent. There are three light colors and three intensities. And the best part is it’s rechargeable! I love this reading lamp! Highly recommended!" —Wendy Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in two sizes and eight colors). A Kindle's screen, like your phone screen, can become easily smudged the more you touch it, so you can probably see the appeal in this screen cleaner kit that includes a bottle of unscented, alcohol-free spray and a microfiber cloth that can leave your Kindle scratch- and streak-free. You can buy the spray in three sizes, and getting a bigger one may be worth it for the multiple uses: Beyond your Kindle, you can use this to clean your phone, TV, car display, laptop and plenty of other screens, not to mention eyeglasses or camera lenses. No wonder 33,000 people and counting have given this kit a five-star rating. Promising review: "I use this all the time on ALL my electronic devices: 2 laptops, a tablet, 2 kindle, 2 phones and a million pairs of reading glasses (all over the house!) And yet almost 6 months after purchase I've still got at least half a bottle left! No streaks, great price, great value. highly recommended" —MFB Get it from Amazon for $19.97+ (available in three sizes). If you're a fan of reading in bed or while lying down in general, a stand for your Kindle like this one may your new best friend. The height can be adjusted anywhere between 27.5 and 55 inches, while the bracket can be rotated 360 degrees to help you get the perfect angle for hands-free reading. The stand is easy to install without any tools, and has a flat base you can tuck under your bed or couch to save space, as well as weigh down with weights if you're worried about tipping it over. The whole structure only weighs 5.75 pounds, so you can take it from room to room as needed. Oh, and this stand isn't just compatible with multiple Kindle models — check the product page's compatible devices list to see if your iPad, Galaxy Tab, phone and other models can also be used with this stand. Promising review: "I am absolutely in LOVE with this stand! It was VERY easy to put together and the base has some weight to it, so no worry about it being knocked over easily. I can use it to read my Kindle while I'm on the couch, in bed, on the porch, outside.. ANYWHERE! If you need a Kindle or other tablet stand, look no further. This ONE IS PERFECT!!!! I bought a remote page turner to go with it and I am in HEAVEN." Ashley Fretwell If a tall floor stand isn't up your alley, you might still like a shorter version like this one, which is a hybrid between a tablet stand and a pillow. Weighing only 2 pounds with a foldable arm and 360-degree rotating pull clip, this stand is compatible with all Kindle types and plenty of other devices. The pillow is made of plush, skin-friendly fabric and can be detached for machine-washing. The storage bowl in the middle of the pillow is also detachable, and can be used to hold remotes, snacks or other items you want close at hand. Grab this pillow in four color options. Promising review: "THIS THING IS AMAZING!!! I was sucked in by all the kindle girlies and book tubers and bought it and I’m so happy I did. I read in bed mostly and I have back issues so holding my iPad can cause a lot of pain so with the pillow stand it helps so much. Pair it with a page turner and you will love reading in comfort." —Sarah You may have heard about using PopSockets for a better grip on a cell phone, but plenty of reviewers have used this one on their Kindle to great success, and it can come in handy if you find it a little awkward to hold the Kindle in one hand. Best when used on a hard case rather than a bare device, you can easily adhere the PopSocket to your Kindle. The PopSocket comes in a ton of different colors, so you can show some fun personality with your choice. Promising review: "I’ve always loved my pop socket on my phone, but putting one on my kindle was the best idea ever. (unfortunately I can’t take credit for the idea!) Holds my kindle paper white perfectly and lets me read while laying down without the ever-present fear of dropping it on my face (yes, it happens with e-readers too). It also makes turning pages easier!" —Maddie B You can't go wrong with the newest standard Kindle model, which comes in two colors and can store 16 GB. That's thousands of books on its own, but if you choose to bundle your purchase with a Kindle Unlimited subscription, your mom can have access to 4 million titles right at her fingertips. The battery life lasts up to six weeks (yes, weeks) and the 6-inch display is adjustable for brightness or even a dark mode. As a Kindle owner myself, I swear by this worth-every-penny purchase, which helped me more than double the amount of books I read in one year. Kindles are also compatible with the Libby app, so if you prefer to check out books from the library instead of buying them, you can still do that with ease.
