It’s “JeoparDAY!”, the day when the long-running game show “Jeopardy” celebrates the anniversary of its inaugural episode on March 30, 1964, and gives viewers the chance to win an aptly valued prize.

This year’s “JeoparDAY!” honors the program’s 62nd birthday, and one lucky fan will win a $6,200 prize and a chance to appear as a contestant on a future show.

The only catch? They have to ace a special test.

“As part of an annual tradition started in 2022, we celebrate JeoparDAY! on March 30,” an announcement on the Jeopardy website reads. “This year, we are giving fans the chance to win $6,200 in celebration of our 62nd birthday. Take the JeoparDAY! Giveaway Test to enter for a chance to win, and for a shot at becoming our next BIG champion.”

Fans interested in taking a swing at the big prize must complete the show’s 50-question Anytime Test, where they’ll have 15 seconds to respond to each question. And spoiler alert, the answers do NOT need to be in the form of a question as they do on the show.

Contestants must be at least 18 years old and a citizen of the United States or Canada. Those who pass the test will be included in a random selection process, where one person will be invited to audition for the show.

Should the lucky winner make it past the audition process, they will be placed in a second contestant pool and have to wait another 24 months to find out whether they will be invited to compete. Regardless, the lucky winner will still walk away with a cool $6,200.
