I wish I had known about this with my first child because it makes life so much easier. I bought this for my baby when she was 8 months old. She's now 11 months old, and it still keeps her busy and happy while I get some work done on my laptop or fold laundry. It's great because, unlike a regular walker, she stays put, and I can see her at all times, yet she gets to practice standing and walking. She loves the various activities, and I can see her using this for years to come, since I'll be able to remove the seat and turn it into a stand-up activity center and then an art table for when she's older. You can also remove each of the four activity centers so they can play on the floor. It's worth every penny. I can't recommend it enough.

I used to hide the remote control because my baby would reach for it and cry when I wouldn't let her have it. I purchased this because it looks very similar to my TV remote, and it works like a charm. At first she was suspicious because I handed it over to her (kids!) so I had to pretend to use it and let her reach for it on her own. It's one of her favorite toys, and she loves chewing on it.
