Retired LAPD detective Mike Rothmiller says he located 70 photocopied pages tied to Marilyn Monroe’s alleged 'red diary' in department records, a claim he says supports a review of her 1962 death. In a Daily Mail report dated Wednesday, March 25, Rothmiller describes entries referencing 'John' and 'Bobby,' which he believes refer to President John F. Kennedy and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. The pages, said to be pulled from a binder, include notes on relationships and political matters, including an alleged plan to assassinate Fidel Castro. A later entry dated August 3, 1962, reads, 'Peter said Robert will come tomorrow,' which he argues challenges the official probable suicide ruling. Rothmiller has asked LA County District Attorney Nathan Hochman to reexamine the case.
