As someone who loves to cook, I threw in a few of my personal tried-and-trues — you're welcome. 😉

The kit includes the immersion blender, attachments for a food chopper, whisk, and milk frother, and a measuring cup.

Promising review: "So far, I couldn't be happier with this device. My grip is not very strong these days, so I was pleased with how easy it is to control the speed with one finger, plus how easy it is to attach and detach all the different tools. I'm especially impressed with the chopper. I had to cut up a LOT of veggies for a soup, and it took just a few pulses with each to get small pieces — even an aging carrot. It also shredded a very old, dry, hard block of cheese, which surprised me. Ditto for chunks of rock-hard dark brown sugar, which got pulverized close to the size of granulated sugar. I haven't tried yet, but I'll bet I could also make peanut butter using this. What's wonderful about the chopper is that it's a snap to clean vs using a food processor. I also used the blender for the soup and it did not scratch the surface of my pot. I use a different tool for frothing and haven't tried the whip yet, but I look forward to trying it too. I'm even looking for a recipe to use it with." —Patski

Get it from Amazon for $35.98 (available in 11 colors and in a set without the food chopper attachment and measuring cup).

Using this moment to send a big ol' "thank you" to the inventor of this mandoline slicer, because it has seriously saved me so much time in the kitchen. The different thickness options mean you can get picky about how you enjoy your veggies (thinner onion = less onion breath, IMO!) and it creates such uniform slices, you'll never have to chomp through a tomato that's perfect on one side and wayyy too thick on the other again. In the world of meal-prep helpers, which sometimes feel like they require more work than they're worth, this one's my fave because it's easy to pull out and use, and even easier to clean. It's just one simple, very sharp blade, so no food or gunk gets stuck anywhere! Plus, prepping a cucumber snack or veggies for a stir fry feels like less of a hassle when you slice things straight into a bowl and have less dishes to clean afterward. I've used mine for years, and it's still going strong!

Promising review: "I did not know how much I really could use a mandolin — turns out A LOT!!! This is a staple now in my kitchen. I bought the mandolin to aid in slicing veggies to ferment, yet with its ease of use I utilize it most every day. Please do not forget to use the provided veggie holder whilst mandolining — or get a painful reminder of your human condition. Happy slicing!!!" —redlotus013

Promising review: "I first ran across the Chopula at a little kitchen store in North Carolina. I was so impressed with all the ways it can be used, I came back to Amazon and ordered another for myself and one each for my kids. I really do love how easy it is to get underneath fried eggs to flip them with this gadget. I had other spatulas, but they always seemed too thick, or they were metal, and I couldn't use them on my nonstick pans. The Nano is awesome because it's much smaller compared to the first Anova, making it easier to store in a drawer.  It sounds trivial, but by making it easier to grab, I'm more likely to use it compared to the Anova, which I kept in a special case in the pantry. Setup is so much quicker, and I can cook a beef roast for 30 hours without adding ANY water. If you're just starting out in sous vide, I recommend this cooker." —Jeff Nichols

The included cook guide breaks down the amount of time you'll want to microwave your pasta depending on serving and type.

Promising review: "I don't want to get all gushy over a pasta maker, but man...I really love this gizmo! I like spaghetti — either with normal Prego-type sauce or sometimes just with butter and Romano cheese sprinkled on. But I'm lazy and impatient, and don't like things that take a long time to make, with a bunch of steps, and a big cleanup afterwards. The Fasta Pasta is perfect for me. I get the exact amount of correctly measured spaghetti; it's faster than boiling water in a big pot then having to watch and stir the pasta; the pasta comes out perfectly cooked every time; and the cleanup is a snap." —Smilin Sam

Okay everyone — after writing about and learning the lore of Maldon salt, I had to try it for myself, and... omg. I'm so happy to report that it's as crunchy and delicious as people make it out to be. I've never really liked the flavor of tabletop salt (ya know, the ones you find in shakers at restaurants), and I'm no culinary expert, but this one has such a yummy, ~clean~ flavor to it! I love that it stays flakey and doesn't dissolve, so when I'm chowing down on some eggs, veggies, potatoes, cookies, etc. (seriously, it works on practically everything), I get to enjoy a surprise lil' *cronch* throughout my entire meal. 😋 I bought this tub and it's lasted me months (and still tastes the same!), and for how easy it makes elevating your food, I def recommend!

BuzzFeeder Emma Lord agrees: "I am OBSESSED with Maldon Sea Salt flakes — I love to put them in olive oil for dipping bread, on top of any chocolate dessert, on any kind of potato or cheese dish. Every time I think to put it on something new, my brain does a little high-five with my mouth."

Promising review: "I’ve tried many sea salts, and Maldon Salt truly stands out. The flaky texture is perfect for finishing dishes, giving a satisfying crunch and a clean, pure salt flavor that enhances without overpowering. I use it on everything from roasted vegetables to homemade chocolate chip cookies, which really makes a noticeable difference. The size lasts a long time, and the handcrafted quality feels premium without being overpriced. Unlike some salts that dissolve too quickly or taste flat, this salt maintains its delicate structure and flavor until it hits your food. There's no overpowering smell, seals well, and cooks well, too." —Michelle Kim

We used to have a Prepworks chopper, which was a similar idea, but you had to press so hard to chop, and it broke after not too long. This one requires very little effort to cut through the foo,d and it has a generous container." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I was skeptical when I ordered it but use it constantly. I live in barracks and do not have a stove. I bought it for boiled eggs but use it much more for breakfast burritos. Super easy. Butter tray, put in egg and water, press the button, and walk away. By time I'm dressed for work it's ready. Throw it in a tortilla and walk out with it. More nutritious than Pop-Tarts. It does hard-boiled eggs well but don't assume thats all its good for. Great for college kids, military people, traveling workers, or anyone without access to a full kitchen." —a.l.s

Reviewers mention the display stays on longer than their other scales, and it has a bit of a memory when it turns off. Also, if you don't want something so ~fancy~, the company makes a smaller scale that can hold the same amount of weight!

Promising review: "I bake sourdough bread. I bought a less expensive scale seven years ago. I finally bucked up and bought the one I wanted in the beginning. This scale is excellent. The amount reading is instant. No delay! That’s super important when pouring in salt and flour. I love the readout panel being on a leash. When I make a double or triple batch and change to a much bigger bowl, I can move that panel and still read it. It’s a little thing that is really huge bonus!!!!!" —This is so cute!!!!!
