I'm a Senior Staff Writer based in New York City, where I've been covering classic BuzzFeed-style content since 2020. It looks like this has now been edited out of the Wikipedia page. A spokesperson for Gemini said, "Gemini is designed not to encourage real-world violence or suggest self-harm. They continued, "In this instance, Gemini clarified that it was AI and referred the individual to a crisis hotline many times. Before she addresses meat/food specifically, she mentions child tax credits from the Big Beautiful Bill helping families (sure, SOME families), along with the low cost of fuel (uhh...see #40), as well as the potential impact from undoing Biden-era protections against offshore drilling in the Gulf. However, as this MS NOW article points out, energy output hit all-time highs during the Biden administration.
