I shop all day for a living — I know, tough gig, right? That means I find some really cool stuff, some that's truly a "need" and others...more of a want. This stuff might fall in the second category, but it's really worth checking out. My guess? At least one thing will end up in your cart before you scroll to the end. Promising review: "The family really enjoyed this gift. Great family game that is better than the original Clue game, in that one plays with ALL the characters, regardless of how many actual players you have. Each time you make a 'guess' at the room, perpetrator, and weapon, you move the perpetrator to that room, so, while your opponent may have been trying to make their way across the board, they may be completely twarted when someone decides to accuse them of the crime." —M.P. Promising review: "This is the best nail polish I’ve ever used! I’m a nurse, so I wash my hands A LOT. Normally, I have to paint my nails every two days because they chip so easily. This polish lasted six days! Including two 12-hour shifts! Not a single chip! Plus, it goes on so nicely. Definitely would recommend." —Jenn P Get it from Amazon for $12.50 (also available in several other shades) Promising review: "Super high-quality. The clamp is strong and it has a bit of weight to it to keep the pages down. The furthest it can open up is about an inch. There is a lot of detail, feels very high-quality." —Mercedes While it starts with rainbow colors, the water eventually turns... brown... so just keep that in mind! It took about a week of consistently going out around the same time each day. I found that taking down a couple of my hanging feeders and wearing sunglasses helped. I had so many that would come curiously up to it and hover around several inches from my face, only to abruptly say “nope, not doing that”. I read somewhere that they may be too apprehensive about seeing your eyes. *shrug* I swear the first day I wore sunglasses it’s like I became invisible to them as any kind of threat. I really love this purchase, and will look forward to using it every year when they return to my garden." —annibchill Buzzfeed Shopping writer, Emma Lord, actually owns this "holy grail" lippy and says: "I was very adamant about not buying this for the longest time because I am stubborn about "expensive" beauty products, but this is worth every penny and then some. It's so lightweight and layerable, it's foolproof to apply, and I have yet to wear a single outfit it doesn't complement??? I love watching it instantly elevate a casual look or add simple elegance to dressy ones. I wear it every day now, and after weeks of use, I've barely made a dent. Also, and maybe this is just me, but I tend to get pigment on my teeth with a lot of lip products, and I've simply never had an issue with this magic stick." Check out this TikTok of someone using it on their lips AND cheeks! Promising review: "You know it’s good when you *have* to buy another before you run out of your last because you just cannot live without it… I’ve been through at least five tubes. Gorgeous shade for my olive skin, builds nicely, and let me tell you, other than my signature red lip, I’ve never gotten more compliments on a lip color than this in my life, although subtle, people just love it. Someone even asked me if I had lip filler done cause they thought my lips looked so enhanced 😂 it’s silky smooth and good all year round." ——— Get it from Amazon for $25 (also available in Pink Honey and Nude Honey in the same listing). Promising review: "Saw Urban Outfitters had a tomato lamp for $100 and said hell naw. But then this lamp came along from the Amazon gods for just under $30 and no way I could pass up such a sick lamp. Smaller than anticipated but it's immaculate. Runs almost everyday/all day and has been doing great for a year now. Remote has never failed me yet (knock on wood)." —Samantha L. Promising review: "A really fun, WELL-MADE, LEGO botanical kit. I always use the lego builder app which makes the instructions clearer. Really enjoyed putting this together. A good size and great value for the money." —Amazon Customer Promising review: "Where was this in the '90s?! Just get it.Works beautifully. We have recently given my son our old LEGOs that have been sitting for decades, and these pieces that have been stuck together that whole time. Easy to use, wish I had one back in the day." —Allie M. Promising review: "I have used other pint cozies, but this one is by far the best. The metallic lining inside of this holder makes all the difference. My hands stay cold, and this helps me be able to hold onto a pint of ice cream when I am crying over election results." —GibsB Get it from Amazon for $15.99 (available in two styles: one for tapered pints (think Ben & Jerrys) and one for straight pints (think Talenti) and dozens of colors and prints). Since I go through them pretty fast, this is a great way to get all the flavors for a good price at once. They tend to get stuck together in transit, especially when traveling in Florida, but I’ve never had trouble separating them by gently patting the bag. Promising review: "I got these because I needed a way to cut open a packet that a medication I take comes in. I've now just decided to take them all out of said packaging and put the pills in a small container. Go figure. BUT I still use these all the time. They're small but mighty. They cut through cardboard like a dream. And of course they're super cute! Who doesn't want cute stuff? I do. They're great for on the go because they're small and you can attach them to a keychain. I love them." —realhorrorshow The screws they come with might not be the proper length for whatever piece of furniture or cabinetry you're updating, so you might need to go to your local hardware store before installing! It turned out to be one of the real home run gift ideas of the holiday season, as both they and we (their grandparents) have had a riotous time playing one round after another over a few sessions during the holiday break. Easy to play, no game board to have to slowly/painfully navigate one's way around, just a fun, playful experience for everyone. Good with only four players, even better with more. Clever idea well & simply executed by the game's creators, definitely recommended!" —AR Get it from Amazon for $18.99. The exfoliation leaves my skin so smooth" —Chloé Calzone Promising review: "I bought this after seeing an ad on TikTok. I'm skeptical but I’m a sucker for this kinda stuff, but it is genuinely amazing. I tested it on all the different areas of my body. It didn’t do a thing to my well-exfoliated palm, but my face, legs, LIPS… baby soft with big balls of dead skin coming off. Like one of those Korean exfoliating gloves, but you don’t have to scrub like you do with those. You just gently rub it in, and your dead skin peels away. I even had a weird callous on my arm that keeps regrowing [and] it smoothed it down so cleanly. This stuff is truly magic. Just WOW." —Nellie Get it from Amazon for $39 (available in three formulations). This is IP44 waterproof certified, meaning it can withstand splashes of water. DO NOT put this in the water with you (obviously!) or place it somewhere precarious where it can fall into the water or will get wet — but know that it'll be ok if splashed. Your nighttime shower mood lighting will be just as cozy with this on your bathroom counter or shelf. Safety first! Hear one TikToker's thoughts on the shower lamp here. Promising review: "I bought this for my bathroom because the one light is super bright and it's too much in the mornings. I still needed some light, so I looked into a lamp like this over some kind of night light or plug-in lamp. I bought this because the reviews were promising, and so far I'm really happy. I charged it when it arrived a week ago, and haven't needed to charge it again yet. I love the warm, but not yellow-y light it emits. The lamp also seems really sturdy, like if I knocked it off the counter, it would be fine. The dimming function is great, no flickering, and I'm really happy the lamp 'remembers' the brightness level it was last on. It says waterproof, and I haven't tested that, but the charging port plug seems to seal really well, so I'm not nervous to have it on the bathroom counter or right next to the shower. My one complaint is that the wood grain color appeared different on my computer than in real life, and it's a little more reddish in person. However, I like this lamp so much I've been moving it to my desk to use in the evenings, so I may just buy another one that matches my bathroom better and leave the wood colored one at my desk." —Syd Smith Promising review: "I bought this kind of as a joke for our shower, but it's the best thing I've purchased so far in 2025! It's easy to use, love the dimmer, and it creates a nice ambiance." —Holla Get it from Amazon for $33.99 (available in five colors). Promising review: "These are the most comfortable dress sandals I have ever owned or worn! They are so comfortable-my feet didn’t hurt at all after wearing them all day at a wedding. Going to get another pair in black." —PPMcSw Get them from Amazon for $39.99+ or from DSW for $59.99 (originally $90; available in sizes 5–12, medium and wide widths, and eight colors) I....can't stop eating this sauce. It was an impulse buy when browsing at Stew Leonards (IYKYK), and it's turned out to be one of my favorite spontaneous grocery cart additions. I've since seen it on TikTok, and for good reason — the sauce is sweet and thick (kind of like an eel sauce viscosity) with just the right hint of spice for me. If you love spice, you'd probably need to add some chili oil, which would also be delish. I put it on a lot of things (it would be good on cardboard, frankly), but one of my favorites is to slice up a cucumber — and half an avocado if I have it — drizzle on this sauce and add some toasted sesame seeds. The perfect side dish or snack! I just bought the 16-ounce size bottle, so I don't need to worry about running out as quickly. Bonus: the larger size bottle also has a twist cap instead of a pop-off cap (the pop-off is kind of annoying and gets a little messy and makes the sauce harder to shake before drizzling). Promising review: "Seriously, don't read it. Stop. Cease. Desist! Read no further. You're still here? Very well. You're wasting valuable time you could be using to order this sauce. I've ordered several bottles and it's good enough to eat over rice with nothing else added. Superb! Go buy yourself a few bottles. Right now. Go!" —NumeralXVI Promising review: "This sauce is the best dumpling sauce/addition I've ever had! I feel like all I do is buy products to try and they get used once for the 'try' phase and get tossed or are lost to the fridge to grow science projects. This one I've had for about a week, and it's almost gone!! We've stocked our freezer with pork & veggie mini wontons/dumplings so that we can use this sauce. The family is [OBSESSED}!!! ♥♥♥" —JenSie Get it from Amazon for $14.99 (also available in ginger soy, which is also delish, and sichuan sesame soy, which I haven't tried yet). Dumpling Daughter is a woman-owned small biz, btw! All their sauces are made right in their restaurant HQ in Boston. I got this watch to see if I like the design on my wrist before I committed to purchasing the Cartier Baignoire watch, and I must say I am literally obsessed, I absolutely LOVE this style watch... It’s made very well, and the gold tone is PERFECT. It’s a beautiful warm tone gold, it’s not too light or too dark, the band is a beautiful textured dark chocolate color. Simply beautiful." —Ashley Breland Get it from Amazon for $31 (available in nine colors). Promising review: "This is a cute way to keep desk essentials organized. It has plenty of space to arrange pens, pencils, and other items. It spins easily to allow easy access to all the sections." —Slsmej Get it from Amazon for $8.98 (available in four colors) The water-resistant light comes with a replaceable lithium battery. Promising review: "So glad I found these. I have one on my apartment key and another on my mailbox key. They really work well, especially in low lighting. Since my vision is no longer perfect, these lights save me time so I don’t have to fumble trying to get my key into the locks. I definitely recommend them. I have a spare for replacement, but they last a long time." —Marni Promising review: "I bought the Hally gem pen for my daughter’s special event, and it was a total hit! ✨ The gems were super easy to apply, stayed in place all day, and added the perfect sparkle to her hairstyle. Removing them was just as simple — no damage, no tangles. We got so many compliments on her festive look, and she felt like a little star." —Alina Get it from Amazon for $34.99 (refills available in the same listing). Not into caviar? I plan on mixing this sugar with the whipped cream I put on top!!" —Savannah Promising review: "My wife bought me this little guy to help me sleep not knowing if I would even care for it, but the little guy is adorable and it was just what I needed to sleep better. It could be the lavender, but I think it is just how comforting he is to hold against your chest when laying down.
