Promising review: "This little gadget made window seat life so much more roomy! I’m a plus-size girlie, and I normally book economy, so anything that will give me extra legroom on a flight I’m a sucker for! It works just like the directions say and is so light that I almost forget it’s in my bag. It’s also stronger and more stable than it looks; it held my phone, earbuds, and two cups easily. The glasses holder was so convenient when I was ready to take a nap and didn’t have to worry about forgetting anything in the seat pocket." —ashley-britt

I used it on my toes, ankle area, etc., and my feet felt great (normal)." —Y.

A few days later, I bought our third — I had to have one also for when I travel. Bought it with us to a hotel on vacation and used it at night to drown out the noise of other guests walking and talking in the halls, and during the day, we listened to music on Bluetooth!! Additionally, we used it with our new puppy to help him sleep and stay asleep through the night. Promising review: "This is awesome! I bought it to take on an overseas trip to Greece. We — meaning me — unwisely booked flights that took 30 hours to get to Athens, Greece. That being said, this was a lifesaver. It was comfortable, and I loved being able to configure it the way I wanted for sleeping in the plane seats, and it supported my neck well to help me sleep. The design for that is high marks! The size is also good as I was able to put it in my backpack carry-on everywhere during our 30-hour sojourn. There was no smell to it when I opened it- thank goodness! I also noticed it did not make me hot as some will." —l houwers

Airplane Pockets is a small business that specializes in sanitary, portable travel organization products.

My colleague Emma Lord owns and loves this: "I used this on a roundtrip from NYC to Tokyo, both with connecting flights in Canada, and cannot sing its praises enough. It fit all four of the different tray tables I used it on and was so ridiculously handy for keeping track of all my littler odds and ends like AirPods, the plane's headphones, earplugs, a sleep mask, a book, gum, a scrunchie, and little snacks. The hanging end of it easily tucked into the built-in sleeve of the seat in front of me for takeoff and when other passengers needed to scoot past me in my aisle seat. Usually, I feel like a hot mess and get frustrated rooting around in the grimy sleeve for my stuff, and this was such a refreshing solution! Several flight attendants even asked where I got it to buy one for themselves!"

Promising review: "Very useful, especially when traveling with kids. Provided easy access and storage to things like water bottle, hand sanitizer, snacks, wipes, headphones. I didn't have to access my carry-on." —JJ

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord has nothing but wonderful things to say about these babies: "I bought these on Prime Day, which is the only day I will buy leggings because I hate wearing leggings with a burning passion. My "I'm not like other girls" bit is that for some reason I am always comfier in jeans than leggings. BUT NOT THESE!!! They slide on. The fabric is so lightweight and breathable that it feels like a whisper. The band is so deceptively comfortable that sometimes I'm like, "Am I still wearing them??" I use them to run outdoors because that is the only circumstance I'll wear a legging, and I'm happy to report after several washes, they are durable and compressive enough to withstand workouts. They would be excellent for lounging if I weren't wired in this odd anti-legging way. I have already bought two more pairs and made my friends buy them, too."

Promising reviews: "Super comfy. I usually don’t write reviews, but I tried these first before buying Lulu, and these are the most comfortable leggings for everyday and even for workouts. Highly recommended!" —Criselle Johnson

Fellow BuzzFeed Shopping writer, Emma Lord, owns one and says: "I will scream this thing's virtues on every corner of this earth. I used this on an eight-day international trip. It fit a veritable arsenal of products — all of my skincare, makeup, hair supplies, toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant were wedged in the different pockets, and still compacted easily and went right into my carryon backpack. It made setting up at the hotel a two-second process of hanging it up and having all my products instantly accessible to me and easy to put away. I cannot imagine traveling without it, especially now that I've used it on a multi-city trip where it was so handy to fold back up and take through multiple hotels. I neeeeeever thought I could become obsessed with a toothbrush, but I guess there's a first time for everything. First off, it's stunning. It's so sleek and high-tech looking. But what really sold me was the included UV-cleaning travel case and the never-ending battery life. As someone who feels like they've been living out of a suitcase recently, I love knowing that my toothbrush looks presentable (there's no grody toothpaste buildup around the head like with my old Sonicare one), and I can trust it won't die on me because the battery lasts for a month on a single charge! Also, I just recently had a teeth cleaning, and my hygienist noticed so much of a difference that she commented on it!

Promising review: "I've been using a Sonicare for a while but was tempted to try Suri because of its lightweight footprint (both physically and ecologically). I'm blown away. This toothbrush packs a mighty punch for such a slim profile. It is super easy to take with you traveling, and the battery seems to last forever. Most importantly, the cleaning feels great. Most other slim-profile electric toothbrushes seem cheap, but this feels like a premium product. Suri, you have a convert!" —Andrew G

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Jessica Hall says: "I recently went on an eight-hour flight, and I was super annoyed about the concept of wearing wired headphones that are stuck in my ears for that long. I knew the only way I was going to be even reasonably comfortable was if I was wearing my over-the-ear headphones, but of course, the problem with that is that they use Bluetooth. Thankfully, I've been writing about this product for a while, so I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try. In my 15 years of international travel, I've only ever had a bag lost once (due to a missed connecting flight), but I figured it was time to stop tempting fate. I'm generally a carry-on-only traveler, but even those have been getting gate-checked more frequently and as my recent trip involved SIX flights, I felt better having this slipped inside. Using the "Find My" app, I can see exactly where my bag was last located, so when I land, I'll know if it made the flight with me."

Promising review: "We purchased multiple tags for our trip. They are absolutely worth the cost. We had one in each suitcase and each backpack at all times. These keep your mind at ease when you’re traveling around the world and have layovers in different locations. You will know that your bag made it on the flight with you." —AZ School Psych

Promising review: "This game is so fun! Traditional Uno, but with a few twists… You don’t want to be the last one to drop the chili beans, like Kevin did! The teens thought this version of Uno was hilarious, and it’s a favorite on family game nights. The cards are well-designed and durable, just like the original Uno cards. The deck of cards is the same size as the original, and the gameplay is typically fast. If you are a fan of card games and The Office, then this is a must-have version of Uno!" —Michelle T

Promising review: "These are great travel bottles. They easily fold up pretty small and held up well. They did not leak at all and were easy to drink from. However, if you tip it when it's open or squeeze it, the water will flow out around the straw. That is, when open, it will leak. The straw is optional but it works well. As for smell and taste, I followed their both of their suggestions in the package — I boiled them briefly and then also put lemon slices with water in them for a few hours. They have no taste at all on first and subsequent uses thereafter. These are a win!" —Catgirl

Just keep in mind that this hammock is not recommended for anyone taller than 5' 4".

Promising review: "I purchased this footrest for a recent trip to Italy. On a previous trip to France, my feet and ankles swelled so badly they looked like balloons. I definitely did not want to repeat that on this trip. The footrest is height adjustable and so will fit most body types. The cords fit over the tray table and sit on the arms of the tray table. It can be used with the tray either up or down. I will say if your feet are in the footrest, it puts tension on the cords, making it difficult to turn the knob that releases the table. Simply lifting your feet or removing them from the footrest solves that problem. I put both feet in it and could move them back and forth, allowing for different positions and less stress on my legs. The footrest itself is memory foam, making it comfortable for the 15-hour flight. This footrest will go traveling with me whenever I fly." —M. Dodge-Meli

The next two flights were at 49 pounds, and both United and Delta found it to be 49 pounds. The bag on the fourth flight weighed 49, but the United scale found it to be 48 pounds. I especially like the mirror which separates my necklaces and earrings, it protects my jewelry from tangling together. I also like that the dividers on the left are movable. I took one out and laid it over the top of my larger earrings to secure them flat and better protect them. It’s also the perfect size to keep my Apple Watch in while I’m swimming or camping. It doesn’t take up too much space but fits everything I need!" —Ashley H

BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life. We center readers over revenue, recommend products with authenticity (using real experiences, not ad-speak), and reflect our diverse audience, inclusive of a variety of price points, people, and needs. We cut through fake deals, favor useful info over glossy fluff, and recommend both budget and splurge options with context so you can decide what’s right for you — and still have a little fun along the way.
