Kid Rock has responded to a crack Conan O’Brien made about him during the 2026 Oscars — and it’s clear that he has zero shame.

During the Academy Awards’ opening monologue, O’Brien quipped:

“I should warn you, tonight could get political, and if that makes you uncomfortable, there’s an alternate Oscars being hosted by Kid Rock,” O’Brien said. “It’s at the Dave & Buster’s down the street.”

The host added that there were a “lot of tickets” still available.

O’Brien’s jab was meant to poke fun at Turning Point USA’s “All-American Halftime Show,” which was headlined by Kid Rock and featured some pretty lackluster performances. The MAGA-friendly alternative halftime show acted as a protest against Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny’s official Super Bowl Halftime Show.

On Monday, the “You Never Met A Motherf**ker Quite Like Me” singer panned O’Brien’s zinger about him.

“I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one,” he said on X.

Which, fair. But then Kid Rock used his response to the joke as an opportunity to hawk tickets for his “Rock the Country” tour, which critics have dubbed “MAGA fest.”

His shameless self-promotion was extra lame since the event had been steeped in controversy following his flat performance at Turning Point’s alternative halftime show.

The festival’s two-day stint in Anderson County, S.C., on July 25 and July 26 was cancelled after several artists slated for the lineup pulled out, The Post & Courier reported last month, including rock band Shinedown, country musicians Morgan Wade and Carter Faith, and rapper Ludacris.

As of Feb. 6, the rock band Creed was also removed from the event’s website without explanation.
