"That was the big difference — the cameras and the lights — that we weren't accustomed to. It's not the usual setting for us." I'm an Associate Editor on BuzzFeed's Pop Culture team who spends my days fangirling over all my favorite TV shows and movies. On Late Night With Seth Meyers, she said, "The cameo came about because I have to have intercourse with a random person on the show. And the producers were like, 'It would be so funny if it was your husband'...It was more awkward. I think [the producers] were thinking it would be less awkward but then we got there and they're like, 'This is really uncomfortable.' Because for one, I've never had pretend sex with my husband." She explained, "I realize that it sounds wild, but we are actors, this is our job. It’s actually not that weird. And with something like this, because it’s our baby that we made together, I think our first priority is always just the movie.” However, she added, "I've been with my husband for a long time. We've been through so much. I know my husband loves me. Who could do this better than him? Really, nobody." And added, "The nice thing about it is seeing someone else adore your spouse. The way that these two characters connect is not just about sex, it's about the mind. That's really gratifying." When asked about the scenes, Judd said, “I don’t mind it because I know they don’t enjoy it. So in a way it’s like torturing people by forcing them to make out.” And when asked if it was weird to watch his wife kiss other men, Ben joked, "It's totally fine. You know, Melissa's made out with lots of guys. It's part of the job, so I don't think it's something any of us thought about as much as people think we think about it." "We saved the physical stuff to the very end of the shooting — and I think everyone expected, like, bombs to go off," she added. "I’ve done it with somebody else in front of my husband before so I think it was actually more awkward for Colin," she said. "He was the one who was like, ‘Are we done? Are we good?’" When asked what the experience was like, Anna said, “It’s really not weird being directed by Stephen. I really enjoy it, he is very talented.” And Stephen added, “I distinctly remember that scene. Joe and I are very close and I just said to him to go for it, man, don’t feel like you need to worry about me, and Anna and I had a chat about it."
