And the Oscar for can’t take a joke goes to the Trump administration.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung raged at Jimmy Kimmel’s latest diss of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump’s documentary at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

Cheung called the talk show host a “classless hack” and more.

Kimmel presented the Best Documentary Feature and Best Documentary Short awards, quipping of the president, “Oh man, is he going to be mad his wife wasn’t nominated for this.”

“Melania,” a vanity project that earned putrid reviews from critics, got a box-office bounce at first and tailed off to fall well short of its reported $75 million production and marketing budget.

Cheung reshared a snippet of Kimmel’s barb with the following comment:

“Jimmy Kimmel (Mr. Blackface) is a classless hack who is self-projecting his depression and sadness onto others. He lives a pathetic existence where nobody— not even his family— enjoys his miserable company. The only people giving him any attention are Hollywood Elites. BUH-BYE!”

The late night host also praised the documentary nominees by noting “there are some countries whose leaders don’t support free speech.”

“I’m not at liberty to say which. Let’s just leave it at North Korea and CBS,” he continued in a dig at the network’s Trump-friendlier turn.

In contrasting the nominated works with other doc fare, he snapped, “There are also documentaries where you walk around the White House trying on shoes.”

Kimmel, who had previously apologized for using blackface in comedy routines years ago on “The Man Show,” also fired zingers at “Melania” last week.

“Between this and ‘Sinners’ it’s been a big year for vampire movies,” Kimmel snarked. “And while some might say that it is not a great look to be plugging your vanity project while your husband’s bombing another country, Melania has never cared much about optics. She can’t even pronounce optics.”

Kimmel was threatened by the Trump administration last year for a line about Charlie Kirk’s killing, and his show was temporarily suspended. But he has not relented in mocking Trump since his return.
