Costco Wholesale has opened its first store in Liberty Hill, a suburb north of Austin. The $62 million location marked its grand opening with an 8 a.m. ribbon cutting on Wednesday, March 11. Hundreds of residents lined up to shop, some arriving as early as 5 a.m. and waiting up to three hours. Liberty Hill Mayor Crystal Mancilla called it a milestone, pointing to jobs and community impact. The 160,000 square foot store is at 595 U.S. Highway 183, Liberty Hill, Texas 78642.
