Post approved and edited by BuzzFeed Community Team After going home first in the Season 10 premiere, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo gave us one of the most quoted exit lines in the franchise: “Miss Vanjie. Miss Vanjie. Miss… Vanjie.” The moment was so iconic that she returned for a second chance in Season 11 and later competed again on All Stars 9. The rivalry between Coco Montrese and Alyssa Edwards is one for the history books. From Coco’s iconic werk room entrance to their epic lip sync battle, watching them compete for the crown was truly iconic. Valentina’s refusal to remove her mask led RuPaul to stop the lip sync on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 and ask her to perform without it. Valentina replied, “I’d like to keep it on, please,” but, not knowing the words, she ultimately went home, and it became one of the show’s most iconic moments. In a Season 5 episode of Untucked, Alyssa Edwards said two iconic words in her confessional: “Back rolls?” After an argument with Jade Jolie, she was confused by a comment about her, and we’ve been quoting it ever since. Not knowing the phrase ultimately led to her elimination, but it remains a key moment in the series. In the Season 9 finale, eventual winner Sasha Velour removed her wig to reveal a shower of rose petals, elevating the art of the lip sync. The moment remains one of the most iconic in Drag Race history. In the Snatch Game on the all-winners season of All Stars, Jinkx Monsoon proved why she earned the title with a stellar Judy Garland impression. This performance shows why she is one of the show’s most well-known and successful queens. Another iconic Season 5 moment had the queens recording a “We Are the World”-style version of RuPaul’s “Can I Get an Amen?” The scene delivered endlessly quotable moments from queens like Jinkx Monsoon, Roxxxy Andrews, Coco Montrese, Detox, and more. Arguably one of the best performances on All Stars 2, and maybe in the show’s history, Katya’s original “Read U Wrote U” verse is pure genius and totally catchy. Her signature Russian accent and incredible stage presence make you want to watch it on repeat. During a Season 15 lip sync against Marcia Marcia Marcia, Anetra stunned viewers with an aerial flip over her competitor, won the battle, and created a moment fans still haven’t forgotten. Chi Chi DeVayne was one of the best performers to grace the RuPaul's Drag Race stage, and her rendition of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" remains one of the most breathtaking moments in the show’s history. Her impact on the world of drag will last forever. Want to get your very own quizzes and posts featured on BuzzFeed’s homepage and app?
